CONDITIONS OF SALE 1. All rams will be sold under the following warranty unless otherwise stated. Any ram is warranted to be capable of and effective at natural service. If any such ram is proved to be incapable of and ineffective at natural service and written notice to that effect, supported by a Veterinary Surgeon s Certificate in the terms hereinafter mentioned, is given by the purchaser to the auctioneers within 10 weeks after the date of sale, then the purchaser may return the ram to the vendor, who shall at the purchaser s option replace the ram with another of equal value, capable of stock getting, or refund the purchase price of the animal, together with such other costs and charges as the purchaser may be entitled to under these conditions. The Veterinary Surgeon s Certificate shall Certify:- (i) (ii) That the ram s incapacity of ineffectiveness is not the result of injury, accident or illness happening after the time of sale. That the purchaser s breeding stock have been found on examination to be in normal breeding condition; and (iii) That they are not responsible for the ram s incapacity or ineffectiveness. 2. All rams will be sold in guineas with bidding intervals at the Auctioneers discretion. 3. All accounts should be settled in full on the day of sale. PLACE OF SALE The sale will be held in the sheep shed at The Ox Pasture, Overton Road, Ludlow. TIMES OF SALE Non Accredited 12noon Accredited 2.00pm TIME OF ARRIVAL OF RAMS Vendors are requested to have their rams in the market as soon as they are able. Staff will be in attendance from 7.00am. If vendors are not properly booked in by the time their rams are to be offered, the pens will be passed over and the rams sold at the end of the sale. MAEDI-VISNA ACCREDITED RAMS Separate Maedi-Visna Accommodation, which has been approved by the Ministry, is available. The necessary papers must accompany the Sheep and be given on arrival. SPECIAL FEATURES OF THIS SALE The Clun Forest will also have a class for the best ram at the sale. The winner will receive The Marsh Memorial Trophy. 2

CATALOGUE In order to be fair to all vendors, the following arrangements have been made. A draw will be made for the start. One auctioneer will start selling the Non Accredited sheep at the draw number at 12noon. He will sell back towards the end of the catalogue. At 3.00pm a second auctioneer will start from the end and sell back towards the draw. At 2.00pm the accredited section will start with a draw being made. Draw number to end of accredited section, back to 1, in that section. Any late entries or non-catalogued sheep will be sold at the end of their respective sections.
