Their contributions come in all forms, from maintenance and repairs to cooking and serving as RSOs. To recognize the importance of volunteer time, the club does a drawing at each monthly meeting. The names of two or more volunteers, who s put in at least 4 hours of time in the previous month, will be randomly drawn to win prizes. This is just a small way of saying thanks for everything you do. The Board Members News Looking for help? North Bristol Sportsman s Club 6 R3 R a n d o m R a n g e R a n t s MAY!!! Wow. This once a month newsletter seems to happen every Two weeks. Who changed the calendar?? Must be Global Warming has the days shorter, too. Lots happening, now that it is nice outside. Turkey Hunting, Fishing opener, nice weather. The frickin grass needs mowing. Spring cleanup and all that. Now that you mention spring cleanup. We need help at the club to finish up the Grant project, clean up, make things nice and get ready for the summer activities. May 19th and maybe the next day, we have a list of fun and exciting projects that you can be a part of. OK, they are not fun and exciting, but the people are, so be one of them and stop out and do Something. Lots of projects, little stuff and big stuff, so you can pick your favorite thing to do. And then shoot some time too. Trap leagues are running, High School shooters are shooting, Skeeters are doing whatever it is they do, and 5-Stand league has started. Ping, Pingers are showing up to shoot rimfire challenge, too. Soooon to be added. The silent sport of Archery. Except the people I know who shoot Archery forgot about the silent part. Come and partake or watch what is going on. Besides, after shooting the bar is open until you decide to go home. If things work out, we will soon have an outside toilet, so you can plan to spend even more time at the range. So, bring out your hand tools and hunting tools and spend a few days helping at the club, and shooting some too. Can t wait to see all the smiling faces back at the club, now that the weather is better, and the Fun is already started. Shoot straight and be Safe See you at the Club
