ROUTE 66 COURIER PAGE 7 OUR CAR CLUB A BIG HIT IN THE 4TH OF JULY FLAGSTAFF PARADE! Mother Nature provided a beautiful window between monsoon rains for the 2014 Flagstaff parade. With sixteen cars looping thru downtown Flagstaff, our club made quite an impression on over 10,000 spectators. Kathy Perkins, Jan Blankenship, and Pat Wiebe strolled along the cars, handing out goodies to the children. Maggie and Bob Bortree, while not driving in the parade, came out to assist in decorating the cars. Ron Fisher did a super job of taking the following action pictures of each of the sixteen classics! Jim & Shirley Rohr and family led the club Herb Santa Maria and grandson in his 65 Malibu John and Edith Ball & grandson in their festive decorated truck Randy Travis and side-kick Bonnie in his 53 Cadilac Ed & Kennedy Torel in their 1956 Chevrolet (Parade Con t)
