In addition, the right is reserved to refuse any entry before the start of the competition with out being liable for compensation. 2. Prize money will be applied to the exhibitor s outstanding account if any, or mailed to the exhibitor as listed on the entry blank within 30 days of the close of the show. Checks void after 60 days. The Horse Show will not stop payment or duplicate awards for any lost check. 3. Refunds: No refunds on stalls after the closing date. If a horse becomes injured or ill prior to being shown in any class, entry fees will be refunded upon receipt of a veterinarian s certificate. An office-processing fee of $35 per legitimately excused animal will be deducted from the refund. All certificates, to be considered, must be received by show management before the closing of the show. 4. Course diagrams will be posted at least one hour prior to each class. Indoor warm up ring 90 x 200 Travel Lite footing. Show ring 175 x 300 with all weather footing. 5. Temporary stabling of canvas construction with doors available at $200 per stall. No initial bedding provided. No wiring of any kind allowed in the stabling areas. Closing date to reserve stalls is August 29, 2008 for the first show and Sept. 15, 2008 for second show. A charge of $250 per stall, if available, for stalls reserved after the closing date. 6. Riders must be properly attired for all classes. Jackets are required unless waived due to inclement weather. Protective headgear is required at all times when mounted on the show grounds. It must meet or exceed ASTM standards for equestrian use, carry the SEI tag, and be properly fitted with harness secured. 7. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to have CURRENT MEMBERSHIPS for any and all classes, which require the same. 8. ENTRIES CLOSE August 28, 2009 for first show and September 11, 2009 for second show. All entry and stall fees must be paid by the closing date of entries. No entry will be considered valid unless accompanied by full payment or open check. The right is reserved to limit the number of entries accepted in any and all divisions. Numbers will not be issued until a signed, open check is lodged with the horse show secretary and all USEF membership cards, and measurement cards have been seen & verified. 11. Entries must add & scratch classes prior to the beginning of the class with the show secretary. Scratch fee of $0 per class. Horses shown in a class with out being entered will pay double the class entry fee. 12. Jumper Nomination Fee is 100/200. 13. $100 charge for non-competing horses 14. An office fee of $35 will be charged 15. A fee of $200 will be charged to exhibitor s account for any returned checks or non accepted credit cards. 16. Should any question or dispute arise not provided for in theses rules, the same shall be referred to show management whose decision shall be final. 17.GF901.29 regarding the requirement for a minor to have a valid driver s license issued by their state of residence in order to operate a motorized vehicle on competition grounds. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule. 18. Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF Rule Book will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith. USEF MEMBERSHIP STATEMENT Life, senior active and junior active members shall be eligible to participate in all classes at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions at the Preliminary Level or above and Combined Driving Competitions at the Advanced Level, Dressage, Reining and Vaulting Competitions and Endurance Rides provided the respective breed/discipline dues or breed/discipline category fee has been paid. A nonmember may participate as a handler, rider, driver, owner, lessee, agent, coach or trainer at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions, Dressage Competitions, Reining Competitions and Combined Driving Competitions upon payment of a $20 nonmember registration fee and a $5 breed/discipline category fee for each breed/discipline.
