Global Concept After our inaugural session in 2017, Team Marcotte is organizing, for this year, various training program in the TM Academy, for riders from all over the world. In 2018, the TM Academy will organise traineeships in France during all the year and for different levels. An opportunity for riders from each continent to join a great experience that combines: riding, sharing and fun. The TM Academy offers you two differents training program to answer to the expectations of each rider : - The Competition pack, in qualitative competition stables, with the goal to enter in a famous jumping show at the end of the training. - The Club pack, in a traditionnal French equestrian center, to improve the basic riding skills and equestrian knowledge. The TM Academy can provide horses on place adapted the level and goals of each rider. The Team Marcotte is composed of different people who make a complementary team, lead by Guillaume Marcotte and dedicated to offer you the best equestrian experience that we can. Our entire team speaks english.
Global Concept The Competition pack concerned more riders from 12 yo to 25 yo, alone or in group, who have a competition level and experience in jumping classes from 1m to 1,25m. From 1 to 10 riders per week. We can provide competition horses on place, selected specifically for this project and available for riders of the TM Academy. Riders are trained in small working groups (2 riders max per group) as they can really enjoy their training. Each rider will have the same horse during all his stay to create a couple with him and being ready for the competition. The grooms of the TM Academy take care of the horses. At the end of each week, the riders could compete in some famous French competitions, with the same horse, and being coached by Guillaume Marcotte. These competitions could be National or International, and they are selected according their quality. We are able to have horses and a training/competition programm for riders who have a upper level than 1,25m or who are older than 25 yo. For them we propose a specific programm on demand. If you are interested by this pack, please ask for the presentation file on: contact@academytm.com The Club pack, is proposed only for groups (from 5 to 16 riders) of riders from 8 to 18 yo. They do not need any experience in competition, only the riding basis. The riders will enjoy riding lessons every day and some animations as the discovery of the farm and their various animals or the French garden with his vegetables. At the end of the traineeship they could obtain a french riding diploma or enjoy an equestrian entertainment. The horses are really adapted and prepared to well learn the riding s basics in a total safety. This one is organised in an old French Abbaye, which is now an equestrian center, and benefits from a restaurant and accommodations on place.
Club pack - Location The «Abbaye des Guillemins» (Guillemins Abbeye) In the hollow of Val Notre-Dame, where was built in 1255, the «Abbaye des Guillemins», you will be welcomed in a field with a quiet atmosphere, where you will discover the charm and the preserved environment. The main house contains beautiful meeting rooms equipped with current means of communication and conference. You can relax during a meal offered by your hosts in the semigastronomic restaurant. The site offers the opportunity for individuals or groups, to practice horse riding, discover the small farm with various animals, or the vegetable garden, go hiking, to go in a horse carriage or walk along the open paths on its meadows of the valley of the Fontaine des Coeures.

Club pack - Location The «Abbaye des Guillemins» is composed of : - the main building with meeting rooms, - the restaurant, - four collective lodgings to sleep, - a small farm and - A French traditional equestrian center with complete equipment for a horse training of quality. Many activities on site are possible, through the various services offered by the small farm and the equestrian center, but also in the near surroundings, thanks to a location of the site in the heart of the Cambrésis, in the North of France.
Collective lodging & Restaurant Collective lodgings are in the buildings overlooking the courtyard of the Abbey, these friendly spaces can accommodate all your groups for an unforgettable stay. Nestled in this site of the thirteenth century, in buildings built in the late nineteenth century and rehabilitated for your comfort with all the necessary and actual equipment, your stay will be in a quiet, serene and green ambience. The cottages have a capacity to: * 15 people for the cottage "Les Hirondelles" * 12 people for the cottage "Le Coquelicots" * 19 places for the cottage "Les Papillons" * 17 places for the cottage "Les Bleuets" The cottages are equipped with bathroom and toilet. Bed linen, heating and cleaning at the end of the stay are included in the reservation. Accessible for people with reduced mobility. The cottages "Hirondelles, Coquelicots and Bleuets" are equipped with an appart and close bedroom with a bed for the accompaniant if you want. Moreover the «Abbaye des Guillemins» benefits from a semi-gastronomic restaurant, well diposed in front of a beautiful garden, which could do all meals for your group every day.
The Equestrian center pack The equestrian center is composed of : - an outdoor arena : 50x30m - a covered arena : 40x20m - stables - obtacles to do a course of jumping - all the pedagogic equipment to learn in good conditions - 13 horses and 10 ponies, who used to be ridden by young riders and well prepared to allow our riders improving their riding skills quickly and in total safety. Moreover the equestrian center is surrounded by 15ha of meadows for horses. The «Abbaye des Guillemins» is certified by the French Equestrian Federation (FFE), with the label EFE (French Equestrian School Pony and Horse). It is one of the most certified equestrian center in France, because it has 7 labels from the FFE.
The Equestrian center pack The pedagogic team is composed of three equestrian teachers, all graduated in France : - Christelle DHELIN - BEES 1 since 15 years ago - Thibaud SAILLY - BEES 1 since 14 years ago - Audrey KINOO BPJEPS For this specific project the teacher who will do the training sessions will be Thibaud SAILLY, who used to speak english fluently. If necessary, during those days, he could be helped by another teacher (graduated of the BPJEPS), who speaks english as well. The equestrian center has 230 riders registered all the year. The pedagogic team is used to learn basic and technical skills to prepare their riders to be graduated for the French title, name «Galop». They validate 50 diplomas «Galop», from the level 1 to the 7, each year. The diploma named «Galops» allows to evaluate the equestrian practice, the care and the knowledge. It follows a training and evaluation plan, written by the FFE and very well known by our team.
The Program The program could be adapted according the expectations and goals of each group. The group of young riders should be accompanied by an adult responsible of them. Here we can presents a basic program for a week: - 13h30 of riding lessons and 9h of equestrian pedagogic supervision, so a global of 22h30 with horses and concerning equestrian knowledge, - 2h of animations to learn more about our farms and its animals, and then about our garden and its vegetables, - An entertainment of your choice for the Sunday: horse trekking, pony games, examination for an equestrian diploma, training to a competition - 3 meals per day for 7 days, - Accomodations in a collective lodging for 7 nights, Various options could be added to this program: - A touristic trip in a famous city: Paris, Lille or Chantilly (with the «Musée du Cheval»), - A jumping competition outside, - More entertainments, - The practice of other sports: golf, fitness, - Having a van to do transports
Prices The global price for this basic program (on previous page) is calculated for a group of 8 riders and 1 accompanying adult. Basic global price for the group : 7790, all taxes included. That corresponds to : - 930 per rider - 350 per accompanying adult. This price include the program, accommodations and meals presented in the previous page. Each option added or a different number of riders or accompanying adults will change this prices. Moreover one time per year, each rider should pay the registration fee of 50, to get his French licence.
