Remember, even if you aren t purchasing photos, we do need your photo for the Yearbook. Yesterday, the 7 th grade boys cross country squad traveled to Vancouver Lake for a Trico League meet. There were great runners to compete against and our young men did their best against them. In the end, Liberty took 5 th place for their first inter-league outing but several of our runners placed well including James Puffer who came in 5 th in a field of 84 with Trent Knoeppel not too far behind in 12 th. The boys will have another chance to show their ability when they will face two of the teams at the Camas Middle School Invitational on the 23 rd. On Tuesday, September 19 th, the 6 th grade boys will race against Skyridge at home. Come cheer them on! CHS home football starts Friday night at Doc Harris when Davis HS from Yakima comes to town. Middle school students are welcome to attend and their ASB cards will get them in at a reduced rate. Look for the Skyridge/Liberty rooting section set up on the east side of the stadium where you can sit and enjoy the game.
Our usual expectations: No hanging out behind the stadium Great sportsmanship at all times Go Papermakers! Do you have a passion to serve your school? Do you enjoy scrap booking or photography? Then Yearbook may be the club for you! We will have an information meeting next Tuesday, Sept. 19 th from 3:00-3:15 p.m. in Room 101. Talk to Ms. Thompson if you have questions. Students remember, if you are not feeling well, please ask to go to the Health Room. Do not call home from the classroom (or text home from your cell phone!). This causes confusion. Thank you! Reminder: if you know you left something at home and you know your parent is going to drop it off to you, please stop by the office during passing time or at lunch to pick it up. Thank you! Bus notes! Please remember to turn your bus notes in at the Attendance Desk before school. Prior to heading to the buses, remember to pick up your green Bus Pass posted on the wall by the Athletic Window. You need this pass in order to ride the different bus. The only time the green Bus Pass will be delivered to you is if you are unaware of riding a different bus. Staff Info Teachers please please please remember to put a note on your door clip indicating where you and your class are, if you leave your classroom. We really need your help with this. Too often we are trying to locate kiddos with no luck. Thank you! Please remember to send sick students to the Health Room to call home. Do not have them call from the classroom. Thank you! Certified staff only.....when you need an external sub remember 3.5 hours or less and they get paid for 3.5 hours. Anything more than 3.5 hours and they get paid for a full 7 hours. Please keep this in mind when you enter your absences (don t forget you can override the ½ day a.m. and ½ day p.m. default times just make sure you stay within the 3.5 hour timeframe ). Thank you! Confiscated Phones/iPods Envelopes if you take away one of these items from a student, please place it in an envelope (you can find these next to the mailboxes in the workroom), complete the form attached to the envelope and deliver to the office. We ll keep it safe in a locked drawer until it gets picked up. Please document in their e-discipline file. Thank you!
