He attended Northside High School, where he played football and was also captain of the team. He met the love of his life during high school. After high school, he attended college in Knoxville, TN where he studied engineering. During that time, he was drafted into the Army. After 2 years of being in the service, he married his high school sweetheart. Mr Hudson worked at Conalco for 41 years. He had 3 children. Some of his life long hobbies are fishing, hunting, and farming. After work, in his spare time, he loved to farm and garden. We are so grateful to have Mr. Hudson in our community. We give him many thanks for serving our country. May Fun Facts Armed Forces Day was created to replace separate Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force Days. More phone calls are made on Mother s Day than any other day of the year. These holiday chats with Mom often cause phone traffic to spike by as much as 37 percent. The American incarnation of Mother s Day was created by Anna Jarvis in 1908. Each year on Memorial Day, a national moment of remembrance takes place at 3:00 pm local time. 1966 the federal government declared Waterloo, New York, the official birthplace of Memorial Day. Originally known as Decoration Day, Memorial Day originated in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971. Source: www.history.com Welcome New Residents!
