The Dubuque County Youth Leaders promote 4-H by volunteering in the community, encouraging others, and empowering youth. Youth Leaders help out at the fair, promote 4-H in schools, and have fun getting to know 4-H members from other clubs around the county. They serve the community by buying shoes for underprivileged kids and ringing the Salvation Army bell at Christmas time. They serve as role models and counselors for younger members at Junior Project Day. If you are interested in joining this group, you are invited to our next Youth Leader meeting on Tuesday, May 5th at 6:30pm at the Dubuque County Extension Office.
