Also feel free to Share the Facebook page to keep grandparents, family, and friends up to date on our great school! *ACT Test for Juniors Only: On Tuesday, March 1 st, all 11 th grade students will be taking the ACT Test at MMHS. Students should arrive in time to begin testing promptly at 8:00am. Breakfast will be served, but no school lunch will be served on this day. Students should bring a supply of #2 pencils and erasers for the test, and a calculator for the Math section. Calculators with internet access will not be allowed. Testing should be completed at approximately 11:30am, and buses will be departing at 11:45am. All students must complete ACT pre-administration portions of the test PRIOR to the test day. Math teachers will be providing this opportunity during math classes February 22-26. Room assignments will be posted in the Counseling Office no later than Monday, February 29 th. So that students will be prepared for the ACT Test, it is recommended they have a good night s rest and a nutritious breakfast. *SPRING SPORTS TRYOUTS: If you are trying out for a spring sport you must have a current physical and a profile on registermyathlete.com. Once those two things are done you may pick up a "Cleared for Tryout" permission slip from Margaret Raine in the counseling office. If you are unsure if your physical is current please see our athletic trainer Krista Prusak for verification. *Yearbook Senior Ads: Congratulate your senior student and show your MMHS pride! Ads are $20 before February 19 th, or $25 if purchased after the 19 th. The deadline to purchase a Senior Ad is February 26 th!!! (More information included in the flyer below!) *Mr. Maple Mountain DVD: If you'd like to relive the magic of the 2016 Mr. Maple Mountain competition that was held on January 27th, DVD's are on sale for $5. The money goes toward the Video Production and TV Broadcasting programs. A sign-up sheet is posted outside of Miss McMurdie's room (F101) but e-mailing her at lindsey.mcmurdie@nebo.edu will get you on the list as well! Pay the finance office and bring your receipt to Miss McMurdie to pick up your DVD. *Senior Pictures: We will not be offering senior pictures through our photographer this year. Bell Photography, who takes our school pictures and did our senior pictures last year, did not have enough seniors interested in getting their pictures taken last year, and therefore won't be offering that option this year. Bell Photography indicated that in visiting with parents, they found that with all of the nice cameras people have access to now, even on their cell phones, most parents did not want to pay the money for professional pictures. *GRADUATION INFORMATION: Seniors who plan on walking at our graduation will need to rent a cap and gown from Josten s. This is a very simple process! Just go to jostens.com, enter Maple Mountain High School as your school. You will find there a selection of cap and gown packages and other graduation items. Please do this ASAP to be sure you have your graduation robes reserved! Students may keep their caps and tassels, but will turn in their rented gowns to Josten s at the end of our graduation ceremony on graduation day. Josten s will have an area set-up at graduation for students to turn in rented gowns. If you have questions, please call Josten s at: 1-800-567-8367. *PSAT Results Are Here: The PSAT results are here and students may pick-up in the Counseling Office!

*MMHS Battle of the Bands: The MMHS "Battle of the Bands" will be held on Thursday, March 17th at 7 pm. Get your group together now! Registration materials are available at the front office and are due by March 11th. There is a $5 entry fee.
