4. FIRST AID MEASURES For advice, contact Poisons Information Centre (phone Australia 13 11 26) or a doctor (For each route of exposure provide indication of medical attention and special treatment needed including description of most important symptoms, acute and delayed) Inhalation Skin Contact Eye Contact Ingestion Note to Physician Do not breathe vapour/mist. Remove victim to fresh air to prevent further exposure. Seek medical attention. Apply resuscitation if victim is not breathing and use respiratory protection. Mechanical device and supplemental oxygen could be used as well. If contact with skin, remove contaminated clothing and shoes immediately and flush skin immediately with running water at room temperature for 15 minutes as it might cause cold burns. If contact with eyes, flush out immediately with water for 15 minutes. If symptoms persist, seek medical attention. 5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES Hazards from combustion products Precautions for firefighters and special protective equipment Suitable / Unsuitable extinguishing material Heat or damage to containers can release flammable/poisonous gases. Extremely flammable. Pressurised dispenser. Closed containers may rupture when exposed to heat greater than 50 C / 122 ºF. Ruptured containers may rocket. Released gases can form invisible, odourless explosive mixtures with air. Hazardous concentrations can accumulate in a confined space. Released gases can travel to source of ignition causing flashback. Fire can produce irritating, poisonous and corrosive gases. Propellant is extremely flammable and heavier than air. Use spark-proof tools and explosion-proof equipment. High concentration of gas could cause dizziness or asphyxiation without warning. Released gases are harmful. Wear SCBA and protective gloves. If large amounts are involved, wear SCBA and chemical splash suit. Use dry chemical or carbon dioxide (CO2). 6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Emergency procedures Methods and materials for containment and clean up Environmental precaution(s) Immediately contact police or fire brigade. Spill or leak area should be isolated immediately for at least 8 m in all directions. Eliminate all sources of ignition within at least 15 m. Keep unauthorised personnel away. Keep upwind and to higher ground. When a large quantity is involved in a fire, consider initial evacuation for at least 100 m in all directions. Notify police and fire brigade of the location, material, UN Number, quantity and emergency contact as well as damage observed. Eliminate all ignition sources (no smoking, flares, sparks or flame) within at least 15m. All equipment used when handling the product must be earthed. Isolate area until gas has dispersed. Ventilate area. Absorb spill with inert absorbent material (e.g. dry sand or earth) for disposal using an approved method or following local regulations. Avoid release to the environment. Do not empty into drains or natural waterways. 7. HANDLING AND STORAGE Precautions for safe handling Conditions for safe storage Extremely flammable. Spray in a well-ventilated area. Do not breathe vapour. Local exhaust ventilation may be necessary to minimise excessive vapour concentration, if levels are likely to be high or in a confined space. Avoid static charge and discharge with high concentrations and in confined space. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a well-ventilated area. Pressurised dispenser. Protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 C / 122 ºF. Do not pierce or burn this can, even when empty. Store away from corrosive products. Store in accordance with Dangerous Goods Regulations and transport in accordance with the ADG Code for Dangerous Goods Class 2.1 8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION National Exposure Standards There is no established TLV (Threshold Limit Value) for this product. Avoid exposure obtain special instructions before use. TWA (Time-Weighted Average-8hr) for Butane is 800ppm. Propane is an asphyxiant. Biological Limit Values Engineering Controls Local exhaust ventilation may be necessary to minimise excessive vapour concentration, if levels are likely to be high or in a confined space. This document becomes uncontrolled once printed. Page 3 of 6

Personal Protective Equipment Wear safety glasses and protective gloves. Wear respirator complying with AS1715 and AS1716 if concentration levels are high. This document becomes uncontrolled once printed. Page 4 of 6

TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION Health Effects Ingestion Eye Contact Skin Contact Inhalation Long term effects Acute Toxicity/ Chronic Toxicity: (ie LD 50 ) Not applicable Liquid may cause severe damage, vapour may irritate. May cause cold burn. Irritating to skin. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling contents can be harmful or fatal. May cause light-headedness, dizziness and drowsiness. Excessive exposure may cause unconsciousness or even death, due to asphyxiation. 12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION Ecotoxicity Persistence and Degradability Mobility Other Adverse Effects Bioaccumulation Potential Propellant consists of hydrocarbons that photo chemically decompose under atmospheric conditions. Propellant will vaporise rapidly when released to atmosphere. This document becomes uncontrolled once printed. Page 5 of 6

This is the dose required to kill half the members of a tested population. National Occupational Health and Safety Commission Safety Data Sheet Short Term Exposure Limit - A 15 minute TWA exposure which should not be exceeded at any time during a working day even if the eight-hour TWA average is within the TWA exposure standard. Exposures at the STEL should not be longer than 15 minutes and should not be repeated more than four times per day. There should be at least 60 minutes between successive exposures at the STEL. Therapeutic Goods Administration Threshold Limit Value - TLV is a proprietary name registered by the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) and refers to airborne concentrations of substances or levels of physical agents to which it is believed that nearly all workers may be repeatedly exposed day after day without adverse effect. Time Weighted Average - The average airborne concentration of a particular substance when calculated over a normal eight-hour working day, for a five-day working week. UN numbers are four-digit numbers that identify hazardous substances, and articles (such as explosives, flammable liquids, toxic substances, etc.) in the framework of international transport.
