The London Cup Para Class 7 Offering the biggest prize fund in any international disabled sports competition even higher than Wimbledon! The London Cup Para Class 7 will comprise six players. The competition will be run under the auspices of the British Table Tennis Association for People With Disabilities. The event is an invitational only with the best players in the world being invited to compete. They include: WILL BAYLEY, 27, UNITED KINGDOM Will Bayley is current World Champion Para Class 7 and won Silver at London 2012 Paralympics. In 2011, he was voted the European Players Player of the Year and in 2012 he achieved the world number one ranking. Bayley was born with arthrogryposis, which affects all four of his limbs. At the age of seven he was diagnosed with cancer, during his recovery he began playing Table Tennis after his grandmother bought him his first table. BILLY SHILTON, 17, UNITED KINGDOM Billy Shilton is a showing his best form to date having recently beat China s number 1 player in Para Class 7 event and will be a likely member of Team GB Paralympic in Rio 2016. In 2015 he took Gold at the Slovenia Open and Silver at the German Open in the Men s Class 7 Team events. These players will be joined by four others from around the world. Names are yet to be finalised, but include players from China, Germany, Belgium and the Ukraine.
