Muscy Cmmunity, San Bernardin Cunty Values and Aspiratins Review During the secnd wrkshp in Muscy, cmmunity members were shwn values and aspiratins segments that they helped develp during the previus wrkshp. Participants were asked t cmment n whether r nt each statement was a value r aspiratin f the cmmunity, nt whether r nt that particular statement addressed smething present r missing in the cmmunity currently. The cmments listed belw have been gruped accrding t the individual segment that they addressed. The final cmmunity values and aspiratins will be statements that express what existing characteristics meeting participants wuld like t maintain, as well as what they wuld like t see in their cmmunity in the future. These revised segments will be frmed int descriptive statements that help t shape the final gals and bjectives in the cmmunity plan. Gals and Objectives Brainstrming During the secnd wrkshp in the Muscy Cmmunity, cmmunity members used Pst-It Ntes t develp and priritize gals and bjectives that they felt best represented the future directin f Muscy. These gals and bjectives were infrmed by the values and aspiratins develped during the previus wrkshp. The bullet pints listed belw have been gruped accrding t gal and bjective and will serve as a base t define future gal and bjective statements. The final cmmunity gals will be succinct statements that express the cmmunity s desire t achieve their aspiratins. A brief narrative fr each gal will be prvided in the future that describes the gal in mre detail. This narrative will include bth the Cunty s and the cmmunity s rle in implementing the gal. Under each gal statement, bjectives brainstrmed by the cmmunity and refined by the team will be written with a measurable utcme and a target timeframe fr implementatin. These bjectives will be riented tward lcal implementatin actins rather than tpics, gals, and plicies addressed thrugh the Cuntywide Plan. Gal Priritizatin After participants brainstrmed gals and bjectives, all f the identified gals were psted n the wall. Participants were given a set number f sticky dts that represented where they wuld spend their resurces. They culd place the dts n any f the gals they felt shuld be the highest pririty. Participants viewed existing land uses and prvided feedback n future land uses thrugh placing cmments n sticky ntes r drawing n land use map exhibits. In additin, participants als ffered written and verbal cmments t the meetings facilitatrs and Cunty staff.
