2019 NRHA EUROPEAN FUTURITY Condition of participation Entry Deadline: March 1 2019 In consideration of my participation in the Euro Futurity 2019 event, I expressly authorize the Italian Reining Horse Association and the Organizing Committee of the event to process my personal and sensitive data pursuant to and for the purposes of Legislative Decree 196/2003 and of the European regulation 679/2016, also expressly authorizing them to publish and / or record, in any form and / or on any media (for example, internet sites, social media, printed media, video streaming, etc.), of photographic material and videos made as part of the above event that may affect my person and / my horses / I, renouncing from now on any protest in this regard. I declare under my personal responsibility to have taken out insurance policy to cover any damage suffered by me and or / my horse as well as any damage, injury or personal injury caused by me and / or my horse / to third parties during the event. Any lack or insufficiency of the aforementioned insurance policy will entail, on my part, the loss of the right to formulate claims for damages against IRHA and the Organizing Committee. However, I undertake to address any claims for damages suffered by me and / or my horses during the event exclusively towards my insurance or third parties other than IRHA and the Organizing Committee, exempting from all responsibility the IRHA and the Organizing Committee and all its managers and representatives for any accident or injury suffered by me and or / my horse / I, as well as for any damage caused by me or my / my horse / third parties (injuries, personal injury and 'other) during the event, including the present as a waiver of the right of action against IRHA and the Organizing Committee, as well as any requests for indemnity, regression or guarantee against them for events that occurred during the event. I have the authority and hereby do, by making this entry, to assume responsibility for and bind owner, rider and/or agent and all the persons included on the entries form to the terms and conditions of this Release and Waiver of Liability. I warrant that I am of legal age and that I have read and fully understand the foregoing terms. I represent and warrant that I am the parent or legal guardian of the participant named above, that I am of legal age and that I have read and fully understand the foregoing release and agree for participant s heirs, successors and assigns, and for participant s legal representatives to the bound by the terms thereof. I authorize the processing of personal data pursuant to the European Privacy Regulation no. 679/2016 ("GDPR"). In faith Data (signature for parental authority in the case of a minor) I agree to be photographed and filmed and that photos and videos can be used publicly by the organizing committee and sold only by persons authorized by the organizers. In faith Data (signature for parental authority in the case of a minor) Entries by online-inscriptions, fax and/or mail shall be binding. Entries and stable reservations will not be handled before receipt of payment. Only one pass for each contribution paid will be assigned (two for Futurity Horses). The pass allows entry to the fairgrounds and access to the finals. Extra passes will not be assigned. Parking passes for cars and trucks may be bought when entering the fairgrounds. The cost of theses are 15,00 for cars and 40,00 for vans and trucks. Theses passes allow the vehicles to be parked in the fairground premises during the show. Also it s possible to rent camper places (with electric plugs) for a 100,00 flat rate. Access to the Facility Horses may access the facility of Cremona as follows: access by the HORSES GATE (following the road signs). Only Friday 29th March From 14,00 to 20,00 All the other days: From 09,00 to 20,00 no overtime access aloud The organization will reserve a priority lane for those who will send all the information in advance (horses passport, name, microchip - riders - vehicles) filling the form on the website.

Participation Entries will not be considered unless forms are completely filled in and received by the organizer in due time, accompanied by horse documentation (AQHA, APHA, etc.) including NRHA Competition License, a copy of the valid NRHA Membership Card (rider and owner), and evidence of payment of all fees. Permission to participate will not be granted unless a valid NRHA Membership Card is provided latest on the day of the event, regardless if a NRHA Membership Card exists and is valid at the tim e of the event. Rider/horse owner assures that the horse(s) is free of any contagious diseases, properly vaccinated according to Italian regulations and laws and carries public liability insurance at the time the horse arrives at the show grounds. The rider commits himself to pay the entry and stable fees, even in the event of his withdrawal with just cause. The horse's ID paper (horse passport) and an additional health certificate for foreign competitors must be presented at the show office. For horses coming from foreign countries (EU) coggins test is not required for other countries (Italy and Extra EU please follow the rules and regulation of the State). Withdrawal and Non-Participation In Principle, the entry fees will not be reimbursed if a participant withdraws his entry. Upon submission of a veterinary report (specialist in horses), up to 80% of the entry fee may be reimbursed, but only if the withdrawal is submitted up to 3 days before the beginning of the event. Entry fees are due also in case of non-participation. Changes The organizer reserves the right to change the conditions up to the entry deadline, to relocate, postpone or cancel the event on his sole decision. In case of cancellation paid entry fees will be returned. Recognition of Organizer's Conditions By submitting the entry form rider/horse owner accepts all show conditions and regulations and the 2019 NRHA Rules and Regulation. Rider/horse owner will follow all instructions by the show management. All decisions made by the show management are binding and final. Doping Tests All horses entered in the NRHA European Futurity are subject to examination. Please refer to the 2019 NRHA European Region Animal Welfare and Medications policy for details on the Animal Welfare and Medications Rule. It is not NRHA's intention to conflict with rules and regulations of states, provinces or countries in regards to medications. In cases, where NRHA hows are held in states, provinces or countries with medications rules and regulations, the rules and regulations of the state, province or country take precedence. The treatment of horses with foreign substances or drugs, that are not allowed according to the doping laws of Italy, are prohibited. All horses are subject to testing during the NRHA European Futurity. Ribbon Presentation Prize money will be paid only if the rider shows up at the ribbons presentation in show outfit and with the horse. Payments A handling fee of 20 will be charged for unpaid debit notes. Payment of Prize Money The prize money will be paid by bank transfer to the bank account of the Recipient of Invoice as filled in the entry form. Recipient of Invoice is responsible to provide the correctminformation for bank transfer. Show organizer is entitled to deduct any outstanding receivables related in any way to the entry form from the prize money. The tax will be calculated separately for each class and we will follow the Italian rules. Recipient of prize money is fully responsible for submission of any information in a thorough and proper way.

For 4-year-old horses Open to all breeds Entry must be named and nominated into the European Nomination Program at the time of entry. See the current NRHA Handbook for information on how the age of a horse is determined. Rider/horse owner is aware of that they are personally liable of any damages caused by the horse if there is no liability insurance. The horse owner shall indemnify and hold harmless show organizer against any claims or legal proceedings brought by third parties. The rider commits himself to pay the entry and stable fees, even in the event of his withdrawal with just cause.

The horse's ID paper (horse passport) and an additional health certificate for foreign competitors must be presented at the show office. Coggin test for foreign horses (European country) is not mandatory. The website will be update if new regulation will occure NRHA COMPeTiTiON license: All horses competing in NRHA approved competitions will be required to have an NRHA competition license upon entering the NRHA European Futurity. A completed NRHA competition license application, copy of breed registration papers (or pictures for grade horses), and license fee must accompany the entry form if not previously applied for. Entries will not be accepted and will be returned if received without a license application for horses not already licensed and applicable late fees will be assessed. A photocopy of the breed registration papers must accompany application for registered horses. For non-registered horses, photographs showing full left and right sides and full front and back views, specifically showing all marks of identification, must be submitted with the application. Owners are required to be members of NRHA prior to completing the license process. If current year membership has not been paid, complete a membership application and return it with the competition license application. (Refer to the membership requirements in the current NRHA Handbook or at www.nrha.com.) Owners and riders must be members of the NRHA. All riders must have individual memberships. (Refer to the membership requirements in the current NRHA Handbook.) Owners may enter more than one horse. Riders may ride no more than three horses per futurity class. All added monies will be expressed in euros until January 1 and then calculated to U.S. dollars. All other fees will be expressed in euros with the conversion rate to be established on January 1(1.1467 for 2019) The show retainage for the NRHA European Futurity will be 50% in addition to the standard 5% show fee deduction. PAYMeNT OF Fees: Complete payment information will be included on the entry form. It is the owner s responsibility to make the entry on or before the due date. Show Management will not be responsible for entries not received by the due date or lost in the mail. An entry check returned due to insufficient funds will constitute an incomplete entry. Failure to pay applies to the rider, owner, or agent for any unpaid debts, related to the entry, exhibition, showing, stalling, or any related fee of an entry at an approved NRHA event. Agent is defined as anyone who acts and/or signs on the behalf of an owner or rider (see General Rules and Regulations, F. Failure to pay in the current NRHA Handbook). ReFUNDs: Refund of 80% of the entry fees paid will be refunded for horses entered and scratched for medical reasons only. Supporting letters of a veterinarian must accompany the scratch notices. Scratch notices received without veterinarian statements will not receive any refunds substitution/transfer OF entry: Substitutions of horses/entries will be permitted after March 1, 2019 but must be completed before 5pm two days prior to the first go-round, a penalty of 10% of the entry fee will apply. Ancillary class entry deadline is March 1, 2019. scratches: Show management must be notified if an entry will be scratched. If the scratched entry has a balance due, that amount must still be paid. CHANge OF OWNeRsHiP: An entered horse may change ownership and retain entry status under the new owner provided that the transfer of the NRHA competition license is complete and the new owner is a member of the National Reining Horse Association. JUDge s Fee: The Judges fee of 100 /75 is due at the time entry is made. JUDges: There will be five judges placed at different points in the arena: the high score and the low score will be eliminated with only the total of the remaining three scores used to determine the final score. These judges will be selected from the approved NRHA Judges list. A pre-check will be utilized

PAYee: Prize money will be paid to the owner as recorded in the NRHA database at the start of the event or designated agent. The prize money will be paid by bank transfer to the bank account of the Recipient of Invoice as filled in the entry form. Recipient of Invoice is responsible to provide the correct information for bank transfer. Show organizer is entitled to deduct any outstanding receivables related in any way to the entry form from the prize money. For foreign recipient of prize money (place of residence is not Italy) this applies also to the withholding according to the Italian tax law.. Recipient of prize money is fully responsible for submission of any information in a thorough and proper way. Ties: In the event of a tie in a final, the tie-breaking procedures as outlined in the current year NRHA Handbook will be used to break the tie. RigHT TO CANCel: Entries are received subject to the right of Italian Reining Horse Association and NRHA Executive Committee to refuse the entry, or a transfer of the entry, without notice to the subscriber. Acceptance of the entry is based on the representations made on the entry form. Decisions of the Executive Committee will be final. Riders are responsible to know and adhere to eligibility requirements for NRHA events. A rider who enters an event or division in which he/she is ineligible, will forfeit all winnings and entry fees to the NRHA, and be subjected to disciplinary action by the NRHA Board of Directors for unsportsmanlike conduct as set forth in the current NRHA Handbook. The rider is responsible for the entry information regardless of whether the form is completed by the agent or owner. The Show Management reserves the right to cancel this event without notice at any time prior to the contest without liability, but in such event will return all entry money to the payee. Interest earned on all fees is the property of Show Management. NRHA rules will apply unless specifically deleted or altered. These rules and conditions are subject to change by action of Italian Reining Horse Association and the NRHA Board of Directors. Show Management reserves the right to discipline any person that it concludes has abused or permitted abusive behavior against a horse, or engaged in unsportsmanlike conduct toward show management, judges or exhibitors. Discipline may include official warning, elimination from competition or any other action deemed appropriate by the show management. Conditions Changes: Italian Reining Horse Association and the NRHA Board of Directors reserves the right to interpret, modify or amend conditions for the NRHA European Futurity. If requiring immediate attention, those rights will be deferred to the Executive Committee. Switching from the Open Futurity to the Non Pro Futurity. After March 1, 2019 but by 5pm two days prior to the first go-round, any entry may switch from the Open Futurity to the Non Pro Futurity. That entry will then be placed in a group to precede the regular draw in the reverse order that they were received. The difference in entry fee will be refunded, with the exception of 10% which will remain in the Open purse. Switching from the Non Pro Futurity to the Open Futurity. After March 1, 2019 but by 5pm two days prior to the first go-round, any entry may switch from the Non Pro Futurity to the Open Futurity by paying the difference between the two entry fees plus a penalty of 10% of the entry fee difference. The 10% penalty will remain in the Non Pro Futurity. That entry will then be placed in a group to precede the regular draw in the reverse order that they were received. There will be no refunds. The entire amount of the entry fee will be moved to the Open purse. The Restricted European Eligibility will apply for all Category 6 Futurity classes. Ribbon Presentation: Prize money will be paid only if the rider shows up at the ribbons presentation in show outfit and with the horse. Payments: A handling fee of 0 will be charged for unpaid debit notes. Animal Welfare and Medications Testing All horses entered in the NRHA European Futurity are subject to examination. Please refer to the NRHA European Region Animal Welfare and Medications policy for details on the Animal Welfare and Medications Rule. It is not NRHA's intention to conflict with rules and regulations of states, provinces or countries in regards to medications. In cases, where NRHA shows are held in states, provinces or countries with medications rules and regulations, the rules and regulations of the state, province or country take precedence.

Finalists and Payout schedule Number of entries = Number of Automatic Finalists 36 and under 40% of the entries from 37 to 60 = 15 from 61 to100 = 20 101 and more = 25 Consolation Round Number of horses not to the finals = Number to the Consolation Round Number back to the Finals 36 and under 40% of the entries 2 from 37 to 60 = 15 3 from 61 to 100 = 20 4 101 and more = 25 5 Any eligible entry wishing to enter the consolation round must declare their intent to do so by noon the day before the class is to run. There are no consolation round purses or entry fees. The consolation round is a clean-slate format. No schooling in the consolation round is permitted. Payout Payout Open Level 1, 2, 3 & 4 Non Pro Level 1, 2, 3 & 4 The entire payout purse will be used for the finals. Every finalist will get a guaranteed base payout for the Level he/she made it back in plus a percentage from the left over purse for that Level following the schedules below. Guaranteed base payout fee Open Non Pro Level 4 600 Level 4 300 Level 3 400 Level 3 200 Level 2 200 Level 2 150 Level 1 100 Level 1 50 The percentages will be calculated using the remaining entry fees, plus the added purse, and guaranteed base payout have been deducted. At no time will the purse payout exceed 100%. Payout: Open Level 1, 2, 3 & 4 & Non Pro level 1, 2, 3 &4 If the number of finalists, without ties, is less than 16, use NRHA Payback Schedule B For others payout schedule please look at the attached schedule
