Sanctions: 15 DS 3423 S; 15 R 3424 S; 15 R3425 S I. GENERAL Everyone entering the MSRC Paddock gate will be required to sign a waiver. A. This event will be held under the 2015 General Competition Rules and all changes published in FASTRACK. B. Participant Accident Insurance is provided as in the SCCA Master Plan. C. The organizers reserve the right to postpone, abandon, or cancel the event or any part of the event. Entry fees will be refunded to those offered no opportunity to compete. D. Each car must be fitted with a working AMB compatible timing transponder. II. ENTRIES A. An entry is not considered complete until the proper fee, as listed on the Official Entry Form, is received. B. An entry is late if not received by Wednesday, January 14, 2015. Late Fee is $25. C. Entries received by Wednesday, January 14, 2015 will be acknowledged via email. D. Refunds will be given on cancellations received by 10 PM Tuesday, January 13, 2015. Refunds for no-shows are guaranteed. Refunds will also be available to drivers who are verified as not having turned a wheel on the track ONLY if the Registrar is notified during Registration hours. All refunds will be subject to a $25 charge. E. SOWDIV permanent numbers will be honored for all entries received by Monday, January 12, 2015. Duplicates resolved on a first come basis. F. Texas Region reserves the right to reject any entry, and to modify the Schedule of Events depending on the number of entries received as provided for in the GCR. G. SCCA will honor any SCCA member with a competition license allowed per the GCR. III. REGISTRATION A. Everyone arriving at the track must sign Track Waiver at the MSR Paddock Entrance Gate to be admitted to the Track. Wrist Bands will be issued to All Drivers and Crew at Registration to be admitted to the Race Track and Hot Pits. All Guests and Spectators will be admitted free of charge upon signing SCCA Waiver. IV. SAFETY and TECH INSPECTION A. No smoking or engines running in Tech garage. B. Before presentation at Tech, all items on the tech card must be filled out down through official weight and wheelbase and the event page in the vehicle logbook must be filled out. C. Tech will keep the Vehicle Log Book for any car presented with no tech sheet from registration until that sheet is furnished. D. Sound control readings will be posted in Tech. E. Any car involved in an accident or metal to metal contact with another car must report to Tech at the end of that session if so directed by an official. F. Lost and found is at Tech. V. PARKING A. All Guests and Visitors may be required to park outside the gate to the Paddock as Paddock Parking may be limited to one paddock vehicle per Racer. B. Open Trailers may be required to park outside of the Paddock Area. TBD. C. Parking will be a premium. Please inform all drivers, crew and guests that they must follow the Paddock Marshalls instructions. THE WINTER FESTIVAL DOUBLE REGIONAL / SUPER SCHOOL Motorsport Ranch, Cresson, Texas, January 16 18, 2015 Held under the 2015 SCCA General Competition Rules VI. PADDOCK A. No one will set up in the area of the paddock without being assigned that area by the Paddock Marshall. B. Each trailer inside the fenced garage area is allowed one support vehicle regardless of the number of race cars inside. C. Paddocks must maintain a clear lane at all times for fire and emergency equipment as well as race traffic. D. Please keep the paddock area clean by using the trash containers. E. Maximum speed limit in the paddock is 10 mph. F. No fluids may be drained onto pavement or ground. Please use MSR provided disposal drums for oil and coolants. Oil dry must be applied IMMEDIATELY to clean up accidental spills. G. Driving stakes into the asphalt is prohibited. H. No motorized vehicle may be driven except by a licensed driver. Imprudent operation will be penalized. I. Skateboards, rollerblades and roller skates are not allowed per MSR Track Rules J. No Loud Music or Engines after 9:00 pm. K. NO PETS ALLOWED per MSR Track Rules L. No Parking between and or around MSR Garages. Please allow access lanes to all garages and DO NOT BLOCK GARAGE DRIVEWAYS AND DOORS. M. Do not dispose of used tires or batteries at the track. Take them home. N. MSR Members and their Guests and their vehicles will be admitted to the Paddock and Garages upon signing the Track Waiver. VII. OTHER A. The Race Chairman, Chief Steward, Stewards of the Meet, and other race officials will normally be at located in the Club House. B. Novice Permit drivers must display a prominent X on the back and on both side of their race cars. C. Competitors who have mechanical problems and need to test their race car at speed may be allowed a hardship lap at the discretion of the Chief Steward. D. Grids, results and trophies will be available at Driver Information. Trophies will not be mailed. E. Race control uses 151.625 and 151.925 MHz radio frequencies. Flagging and Communications may use FRS Channel 14, code 10. Please, do not use these for team communications. VIII. RULES of The ROAD A. There may be a Pit Marshall at pit exit with a stop-go sign to control cars entering the track. Failure to heed the Pit Marshall s instructions will result in a stop and go or other penalty at the discretion of the Chief Steward. IX. OTHER PROVISIONS A. The Chief Steward and Stewards of the Meet reserve the right to combine or split race groups and to modify the schedule and/or length of sessions as may be required. B. A chequered flag may be displayed at the Black Flag station to indicate the end of a practice or qualifying session. Drivers must proceed directly to pits. C. Flag Station 7 will Start and Flag the Race from the back straight. The Checkered Flag will be thrown from Flag Station 1 at the end of the front straight before Turn 1.
