In the rubbermatch of the three-game series, Frederick led by four runs entering the seventh inning when Delvi Cid hit a two-run homer to cut the K-Tribe deficit in half. In the top of the ninth, RHP Sean Gleason blew his first save of season after he surrendered a three-run shot to Casey Frawley. The Keys lost 6-5 and dropped to 23-19 on the year. Frederick heads north today to start up a three-game set with the Northern Division leader in the Wilmington Blue Rocks. The Rocks enters this evening riding a seven-game winning streak which is tied for their season-long. The Keys will attempt to put an end to the Rocks winning ways when they send LHP Nathan Moreau to the hill tonight. First pitch is set for 6:35 PM from Frawley Stadium in Wilmington, DE. KEYS: LHP Nathan Moreau (3-3, 4.41) College teammates of current Blue Rock, Joey Lewis, while at the University of Georgia. Moreau reached the College World Series in 2006 & 2008 with UGA. Threw a nine-inning no-hitter against Salem in his Carolina League debut on June 30, 2010. In two career starts against the Blue Rocks, Moreau is 1-0 with an ERA 1.93 (9.1IP, 7H, 3R, 2ER, 6BB, 8K). KEYNOTES: AND THE AWARDS GOES TO RHP Bobby Bundy was named Carolina League Pitcher of the Week for the week of May 16-22. In Bundy s start on May 21 st against the Kinston Indians, he tossed a season-high eight innings, struck out eight, and allowed one run on three hits. Bundy leads SEASON the Keys in wins HI S (4),& ERA LOW S (2.42), innings pitched (44.2), and strikeouts (43). His ERA of 2.42 and 43 strikeouts are tops among Orioles farmhands. The Owasso, OK native is the first Key in 2011 to receive a weekly honor by the Carolina League. HE S COMING HOME Prior to tonight s game, 2B/OF LJ Hoes was promoted to Double-A Bowie. Hoes, a native of Bowie, MD, played in 138 games with the Keys over the past two seasons. As a Key, he hit.266 with 26 doubles, 6 home runs, and 61 RBI. Selected by the Orioles in the third round of the 2008 draft, Hoes played three games for the Baysox in 2010. He went 2-for-9 over a three-game series in Akron. Entering 2011, Hoes was rated by Baseball America as the Orioles fourth-best prospect. ROLLING ROCKS Since the Keys swept a four-game series from Wilmington in early May, the Blue Rocks have gone 10-3 including winning their last seven games. The Blue Rocks took four from the Salem Red Sox and three from the Myrtle Beach Pelicans this past weekend. The Pelicans and Red Sox are currently in first and second place in the Southern Division of the Carolina League. John Whittleman, Carlo Testa, Deivy Batista, and Whit Merrifield are all hitting over.325 in the current seven-game winning streak for Wilmington. SERIES HISTORY Wilmington 174-186 The Blue Rocks took the season series from the Keys, 11-9, last year. Frederick won just six games against Wilmington in 2009. The Keys swept a four-game series from the Blue Rocks the first time the two clubs met in early May.

Startup, Will LHP [Free Agent 2010, Nashville, TN] Has a career ERA of 2.51 in 164 relief appearances in his six-year minor league career. Reached Triple-A with the Braves organization in 2007 and was traded to San Diego on July 31 of that year. Did not allow a run in 6.2 innings of work with the Frederick last year. Tanaka, Ryohei RHP [UDFA 09, Komatsu City, Ishikawa, Japan] Became the first Japanese-born player in Baysox history when he made his debut on June 7, 2009. Did not allow a run in his first nine appearances as a Baysox (17IP, 12H, 0R, 13K). Led the Bowie Baysox in wins in 2010; Tanaka went 8-12 with a 5.64 ERA in 29 games (22 starts).
