On site tack shop, cafe and toilets available Important Note applicable to ALL Classes The Chilham Park ODE is 45, so if you just want to enter the ODE that is the entry fee you need to pay directly to Chilham Park (this will be enter you into the Chilham Park ODE and the BCPS ODE). However, if you would like to be included in the rosettes/trophies/sashes for the individual disciplines (dressage, show jumping, cross country and combined training) there is an additional charge of 8 per section or if all five sections in a class are entered, a reduced entry fee of 25 can be paid ( 70 in total including the ODE entry to Chilham Park). The Dressage test to be ridden once and the jumping rounds once also. If the SJ is entered as a separate event the one event round will be timed Rosettes to 8th place will be awarded in each section. BCPS Points Trophies awarded to members for the Performance Day and presented at the BCPS AGM in November Granite Grey Trophy to the pure bred Connemara Mare with the most points during the day Great Bradley Henry Bell Trophy to the pure bred Connemara Gelding with the most points during the day. Christopher Columbus Trophy to the pure bred 13.2hh and under Connemara with most points during the day. The Hearnesbrook Trophy to the registered Part Bred with the most points during the day. The Mystic Isle Trophy to the pure bred Connemara mare with the highest Dressage percentage of the day. The Fawcett Trophy to the junior member, 14 years and under, in classes 3 and 4 with the most points on the day. The course will be open for walking between 2pm and 5pm on Saturday 9th September (dogs to be kept on leads at all times) There is a water complex on the course. If walking the course on the Sunday, please be aware of competitors already on the course. The committee decision is final on the day. Competitors must wear correct riding attire. Hard hats conforming to PAS015,EN 1384 or higher must be worn and chinstraps fastened at all times. Body protectors and medical armbands are compulsory for the Cross Country phase. The decision of the judges and organisers is final in all respects. Outside assistance is forbidden in all classes. In the event of cancellation, 2 of each entry will be withheld for administration costs. Entry fees will only be refunded on production of a vets or doctors certificate within 7 days of the event. All droppings and rubbish must be removed from the showground. Any complaint must be made in writing to the secretary within 30 minutes of the incident taking place. LEGAL LIABILITY Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of the event, nor the British Connemara Pony Society, nor any agent employee or representative of these bodies accepts any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, and or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Everything reasonably practicable is done to ensure the health, safety and welfare of those attending the event. The organisers have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take reasonable responsibility to avoid accidents and must obey the instructions of the organisers and stewards.
