Opportunity to Promote Your Business Through the South Texas Mustang Club s Lone Star Mustang National Mustang Club of America National Show March 6-8, 208 www.lsmn208.com The Lone Star Mustang National Mustang Club of America National Show will be an international car show hosted by the South Texas Mustang Club, with participants from all over the United States, Canada, and Mexico. More than 300 vehicles and 750 participants are expected to be registered for the 3-day event. Most of these will be high quality show cars competing for trophies. Thousands of spectators will view the show at the McAllen Convention Center. The participants and many of the spectators at this event will have above average discretionary income and a preference for Ford products. They purchase Ford cars, trucks, parts, and accessories for their hobbies, families, and businesses. The schedule for this premiere car event will be: Friday morning at 8 am: Registration begins and show cars will be on display. A Pony Trail to The Original Iwo Jima Memorial and Museum in Harlingen, Texas for the day will start. Vendors will set up. Friday evening at 6 pm: The buffet-style reception begins at the Embassy Suites Hotel Patio. Entertainment will be provided by a mariachi band. Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm: The show cars will be on display and they will be judged by the Mustang Club of America Certified Judges and Gold Card Judges. The Ford Mustangs will be judged in approximately 60 different categories ranging from the nearly perfect Mustangs in the Concours Trailered classes to the more practical Daily Driven classes, all of which will be amazing.
Saturday evening Banquet at 6 pm: The Fiesta South Texas social begins at the Embassy Suites Hotel where show participants will be able to relax, enjoy themselves, and interact with other Mustang owners while enjoying appetizers. side the ballroom, we will have a nice sit-down dinner with a guest speaker. Musical entertainment will be provided by a mariachi band and folklorico dancers. Sunday from 8 am to 2 pm: The show cars will be on display and judging will be completed. Sunday at 2 pm: The awards ceremony will be held in the McAllen Convention Center Ballroom. There will be approximately 300 trophies awarded to the winners of the judged car show. Raffle prizes also will be awarded prior to the awards presentation. The event will be widely publicized by the Mustang Club of America, the South Texas Mustang Club, and The City of McAllen. The South Texas Mustang Club is a long-standing and very active car club in the Rio Grande Valley, having been started in 994. 994, we became a chartered club of the Mustang Club of America, and 208 will mark our first Mustang Club of America National Show at the luxurious McAllen Convention Center, which will be the first such show ever held in the region. We will do everything that we can to help you promote your business through the opportunity of this show.
