ABOUT US The Utah State Fair is the largest annual event in Utah. With annual attendance of nearly 300,000 people, it has been an unparalleled cultural asset to Utah since 1856. The Fair offers a wide array of attractions, live entertainment, agricultural and competitive exhibits, exciting carnival rides, rodeos, concerts, and specialty foods. This September will mark the 164th year. The Utah State Fair is operated by the Utah State Fair Corporation, a public, non-profit 501(c)3 corporation formed in 1995 that is responsible for managing, supervising and controlling all activities relating to the state fair and the state Fairpark facilities.

FAIR FOOD The Utah State Fair has big plans to dramatically increase its showcasing and partnership with Utahʼs local foods, locally made products, and agricultural resources. In the coming months we plan to renovate our outdated competition/ demonstration kitchen (located in the Zion building) to bring its culinary potential to life. We plan to utilize our social media to bring our culinary sponsors and demonstrators more attention, and live stream certain demonstrations and cook-offs. Currently, the Utah State Fair hosts: 6 Cooking Competitions 60 Food Demonstrations Throughout the rest of the year, the facility is rented for events and cooking classes. The Fair will also continue to shoot food demonstrations in our kitchen to post on social media continuing our commitment to being a Utah food ambassador.

PRCA RODEO Utahʼs Own Rodeo at the 2019 Utah State Fair is celebrating 32 years as a Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) approved rodeo. Held in the Arena, with breathtaking views of the Wasatch Mountains, we will present the six standard PRCA events, along with Women's Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) barrel racing, in every performance. Some of the associationʼs best cowboys and cowgirls will compete in bareback bronc riding, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, barrel racing and, the fan favorite, bull riding! We will also feature the crowd-pleasing mutton bustin' competition, rodeo clown and barrelman and specialty acts. From our patriotic opening ceremony to our Tough Enough to Wear Pink night inviting the crowd to sport their favorite pink clothing to support breast cancer, the crowd is engaged, educated and entertained. Itʼs an action packed party you will definitely want to be a part of!

STAGES 2019 CONCERT SERIES The Days of ʻ47 Arena hosts national/ international acts from all genres of music and is located on the North Fairgrounds. The concert series requires an additional paid ticket. VANS SERIES SKATEPARK This summer, Vans Park Series (VPS) and the Utah State Fairpark are constructing an Olympic-caliber built-to-spec park terrain skatepark to host the finals stop of the Vans Park Series World Championship to be held the first weekend of the Utah State Fair! Not only will it be the first time ever that the park skateboarding championships have been held on American soil, but Skateboardingʼs elite will be vying for a total series purse in excess of $700,000. Skateboarding will make its debut as a competitive sport in the Olympics in 2020.
