CHL PREDICTIONS COMPETITION RULES - TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. This Prediction game ("Competition") is open to residents of all countries where the competition is not prohibited or unlawful excluding employees of the Promoter, the Champions Hockey League (CHL), associated companies and agencies, their immediate families or anyone else involved in the organisation or administration of the Competition. However, prize winners must be 18 or over and residents of European countries. 2. Each Entrant may only enter the Competition once. 3. The winners will be contacted directly by the promoter. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner however if the winner cannot be contacted after reasonable efforts have been made, their prize will be forfeited. No correspondence shall be entered into with regard to the contest. No legal recourse is possible. No grounds exist for an actionable claim for delivery, payment of the prize in cash or exchange of the prize. 4. The following prizes will be proposed: 1) Overall Ranking Season (From Game Day 1 to the Final) Prize 1 - Game worn CHL jersey Prize 2 - Game worn CHL jersey Prize 3 - Game worn CHL jersey Prize 4 - CHL Socckey Prize 5 - CHL Socckey The winners of merchandise (jerseys, sockkeys, pucks) must inform the CHL Office within three (3) working days after notice in written where to ship and which product they choose (if applicable). CHL socckeys: winners can choose the team, name and number. CHL game worn jerseys: item is given, winners cannot choose team and player.
2) Overall Ranking - Group Stage (From Game Day 1 to Game Day 6) Prize 1 - Trip to the CHL Final incl. VIP Tickets, flights, hotel The prize winner must be 18 years old or over and a resident of an European country. The prize shall be distributed to the prize-winner only and the acceptance must be confirmed to the CHL office within three (3) working days after notice. The prize shall be in the form of a well-defined package for two (2) persons (winner + company), including: Economy flight from the winner s home country to the host city of the Final game (outbound 6 February 2018 / inbound 7 February 2018) Transfer from the airport to the hotel and back Transfer from the hotel to the arena and back Hotel (one night stay in a double or twin room, including breakfast) CHL VIP final ticket including hospitality at the venue Behind the scenes tour at the CHL Final venue The prize may not be exchanged or redeemed for equivalent cash value. CHL or its travel agency may liaise with the winner to discuss suitable travel arrangements (for example, preferred departure airports and flight times), however all flight, hotel and transport arrangements are at the agency and the CHL s sole discretion. The winner and his/her companion will be required to confirm the prize acceptance in written form and submit copies of their passports to enable the travel agency to make the required arrangements. At the agency s request, the winner shall provide any further personal details (for himself/herself and his/her companion) which the agency may reasonably require. The winner is responsible for all travel and other related expenses not forming part of the winner prize, including but not limited to transport to and from the winner s home to the airport, travel insurance, and any meals or other refreshments which are not clearly declared as part of the winner package.
3) For each Game Day - Group Stage (From Game Day 1 to Game Day 6) Prize 1-1x2 Tickets for a CHL game (CHL Final excluded) Prize 2 - CHL Puck Prize 3 - CHL Puck The winners of game tickets will be offered two (2) catgeory 1 tickets for a CHL game at their own's option. The CHL Final is excluded and cannot be chosen by winners. The winners of game tickets must inform the CHL Office within three (3) working days after notice in written which game they would like to attend. Chosen games must not be earlier than 12 days ahead. Ticket assignment is subject of availability. Chosen game cannot be changed after written confirmation has been sent. The winners of merchandise (jerseys, sockkeys, pucks) must inform the CHL Office within three (3) working days after notice in written where to ship and which product they choose (if applicable). CHL Puck: item is given, winners cannot customize. 4) For each Gameday - Playoffs (From Round of 16 to the Final) Prize 1 - CHL Jersey Prize 2 - CHL Puck Prize 3 - CHL Puck The winners of merchandise (jerseys, sockkeys, pucks) must inform the CHL Office within three (3) working days after notice in written where to ship and which product they choose (if applicable). CHL Jerseys: winners can choose the team, name and number. CHL Puck: item is given, winners cannot customize. 5. In all cases of dispute the Champions Hockey League may ask for additional information from the recipient and retains sole rights to the interpretation of Terms and Conditions and their decision is final.
6. By entering the competition competitors agree to be added to the subscriber database to receive regular communications from the Champions Hockey League (and its potential partners involved in the game) and are free to unsubscribe from this communication at any time in the future. 7. The prize winner may be required to participate in future publicity. By participating in the Competition, the prize winner and their guests agree that the Promoter can record, film and/or photograph their participating in all aspects of the relevant prize and exploit, and authorise third parties to exploit, such films, photographs or recordings in any media now known or hereafter invented in any part of the world and for any purpose whatsoever in perpetuity, with no payment being due to the participant or their guests. 8. The Promoter reserves the right to change the prize list and the conditions relating to the draw of prizes during the competition. The Promoter further reserves the right to close or suspend the competition at any time. This applies in particular if reasons exist that would disrupt or prevent the competition from taking place as planned. 9. Proof of making an entry does not constitute proof of receipt by the Promoter. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for entries which are lost, damaged, or delayed (including due to internet service disruption). All decisions of the Promoter are final, and the Promoter will not enter into any other correspondence regarding any aspect of the Competition. 10. Under no circumstances will the Promoter be liable for any losses, damages, costs or expenses arising from or in any way connected with the Competition, including the following types of loss or damage: any loss of profits, business, contracts, anticipated savings, goodwill, or revenue, any wasted expenditure, or any loss or corruption of data (regardless of whether any of these types of loss or damage are direct, indirect or consequential); or any indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever. 11. Provided that nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit the Promoter's liability for death or personal injury as a result of its own negligence or in relation to fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited by law. 12. To the extent permitted by law, all Prize Winners agree that they and
their guests will release and hold harmless the Promoter and any other party professionally connected with the Competition, together with their respective employees and from and against any claim, loss, liability, or damage to or loss of property arising in connection with their participation in the Competition or activities in relation to the applicable prize. 13. By participating in the Competition, Participants warrant that they agree to be bound by, and are deemed to have read and understood, these Terms and Conditions. 14. If any provision contained in these Terms and Conditions shall be prohibited by law or adjudged by a court to be unlawful, void or unenforceable such provision shall, to the extent required, be severed from these Terms and Conditions and rendered ineffective as far as possible without modifying the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions, and shall not in any way affect the validity or enforcement of the remaining Terms and Conditions. 15. This Competition and these Terms and Conditions are governed by Swiss law and the courts of Switzerland shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Competition. 16. The promoter is the Champions Hockey League (CHL) AG, Gubelstrasse 24, 6300 Zug, Switzerland. The prizes will be made available by the Champions Hockey League. 17. This following criterias would break a tie among competitors in case of deuces (Game Day & final rankings). 1) For each game day: The highest number of correct results obtained in the game day then, the highest score obtained for one match in the game day then, the highest score obtained for the bonus questions then, a lottery would break a tie among competitors in case of deuces 2) For the general ranking (after the group stage & at the end of the game):
