Andreas Altenhuber Horst Anselm Martin Maier Manuel Parg Andrea Anselm The Vienna Nightrow 2017 will take place on the 24th of June 2017 at the Vienna regatta course Neue Donau- Steinspornbrücke. The time schedule is organised in a way as to allow starting at both of the regattas. The Time Relation Trials conducted by the Austrian Rowing Federation will take place on Friday, 23rd June, 2017 between 5:30 and 7:00 p.m. During this time period training is not permitted on the regatta course. The Mens Eight will be the last race on Sunday. It will be arranged as an open and exclusive race over a distance of 2000 m and exempt from entry fee but must be entered separately under regatta@ruderverband.wien. 8 starting lanes will be available. The winner will receive the 2017 Trophy of the Vienna Rowing Association. The boats ranking on places one to three will be automatically qualified for 2018. The Starting Bridge will be positioned at starting lanes 1 to 4 on Saturday from approximately 3:30 p.m onwards. Please take care and pay special attention to this to avoid possible boat damages. Training except if otherwise provided for and in full compliance with the traffic rules displayed at the leaving and arrival pontoons, training will be permitted according to the following time schedule: Friday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (lanes 1+2 from finish to start, lanes 5+6 from start to finish Saturday: 6:30 to 7:30 a.m.(lanes 1+2 from finish to start, lanes 5+6 from start to finish) Sunday: 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. (lanes 1+2 from finish to start, lanes 5 +6 from start to finish) Wiener Ruderverband 4

The regatta will be held on the Vienna regatta course Neue Donau/Stein-Spornbrücke in accordance with the RoR of FISA supplemented by the RoR of the Austrian Rowing Federation. The course offers 6 lanes and is equipped with albano and traffic light starting system. 2. Starting for 2000m races takes place from fixed starting points at a starting pontoon. All other races will be launched by flying starts. 3. There will be a time interval of 7 minutes between each race. Starting in all categories will be made possible for the M&W Junior 14 races. 4. The winners will be awarded medals. Juniors14 and Juniors B will be awarded medals in gold, silver and bronze for ranks 1, 2 and 3. 5. Junior rowers must be able to swim and have to be insured adequately. All Austrian Juniors including Juniors 14 shall be only entitled to start when holding a valid junior licence. The Junior Licences of the rowers entered for participation must be available to the Secretariat of the Austrian Rowing Federation at the time of the Closing of Entries at the latest. If no licence has been presented at the time of the Closing of Entries for a particular rower the latter will lose his or her right to start in the event. His or her entry is then considered invalid. 6. Storage of boats and parking of trailers is at the participants own risk. There will be no liability on the part of the Organiser for any damages incurring. 7. Weighing of coxswains and LW rowers will take place two to maximum one hour prior to the first race of the crew on each regatta day in the marked room in the corridor of the finish tower. 8. Entries shall be done under http://regatten.rudern.at/ 9. Entries must contain all data required by the official entry form. 10. Entries for the Time Relation Trials are exclusively open the Austrian Rowing Federation. Wiener Ruderverband 5
11. Closing of Entries is Wednesday 14th June 2017 6:00 p.m. 12. Entries after the Closing deadline: On principle, races get established at the time of closing of entries. Entries after the closing deadline for already determined races will be accepted up to the first Team Managers Meeting. Acceptance of entries after the closing date is not obligatory. Relevant decisions will be exclusively taken by the Organising Committee. Post deadline entries will be incorporated into the race programm in accordance with availability of starting places. The amount of entry fee for post closing deadline entries will be calculated in accordance with the Austrian RoR (increased by 0%). 13. According to 38 of the Austrian RoR entry fees shall be remitted up to June 19th at the latest, to the account IBAN AT85 6000 0101 101 5749, BIC BAWAATWW, named Wiener Ruderverband indicating Wiener Internationale as the purpose of remittance. As a prove of remittance a copy shall be available for presentation at the Team Managers Meeting. Entry Fee JM-B, JW-B, J14 M&W: 1x 25,00 2x 30,00 4x 40,00 8+ 45,00 The entry fee is an all-inclusive amount and is due for the final race on Sunday. Preliminary heats on Saturday for the finals on Sunday are included. The complete entry fee is also due for participants who want to start on Sunday only. M, W, JM-A, JW-A, Masters 1x 30,00 2x, 2 35,00 4x,4 40,00 8+ 45,00 There will be preliminary and final races on both days for the categories M, W, JM-A, and JW-A. The entry fee has therefore to be paid for each regatta day. For MASTERS the entry fee is due for each race There will be no preliminaries for MASTERS races. The final races will be seeded by the Jury according to Age Categories. In case of less than 4 boats per age category in one race, other age categories can be raced together using a handicap system. 1. Foreign clubs pay 50 % of the entry fee only. 2. Participation in the Team Manager Meeting is obligatory for all teams. Wiener Ruderverband 6
3, For all races of the categories M&W Juniors-A, Men and Women, there will be preliminaries and finals on each regatta day. For all other categories the races on Sunday will be seeded in accordance with the results obtained in the Saturday races. 4. MASTERS 4.1 Entries for Masters races are only valid when containing information on the year of birth of the rower. Participants must be able to prove their age by presentation of an official document. The international Age Categories A-J will be applicable. A - Minimum age 27 years C - Average age 43 E - Average age 55 years G Average age 65 years I Average age 75 years B- Average age 36 years D Average age 50 years F - Average age 60 years H - Average age 70 years J Average age 80 years Ax see item ** ** Special starting regulations. Rowers are entitled to start in category AX if they have not yet completed the age limit of 27 for Category A, provided they are not part of a national rowing cadre and have not been racing in a national or international competition over the distance of 2000m in the current year. This category is in particular indicated for the category of Men and Women as well as for students who do not (or no longer) pertain to any national racing cadre. 4.2 A minimum of three participants is required in a particular age category to get established as a race. No handicap is applied within one particular age group, even if a crew has been entered to race in a younger age category. If there are not enough boats for one particular age category, heats of up to three age categories may race together. The individual age categories will then start with time interval handicaps. The winner of such a race is there fore the crew who first passes the finishing line. In case of false starts and in case of severe infringements of the rules the race may be stopped or, as an alternative a penalty of 2 seconds given. 4.3 The handicap to be applied will be announced together with the list of entries. If more than 6 crews are entered for a particular race, the race will be splitted into divisions. Wiener Ruderverband 7

The Saturday races are considered qualification races for the Sunday races. The divisional races on Sunday will be seeded by the Jury in accordance with the rankings obtained in the Saturday races. In the case of more than 36 boats in one race seeding takes place on the basis of the racing times achieved by all boats in their Saturday races. Participants who have not been racing on Saturday or have not reached the finish line on Saturday will be seeded into the last group of the Sunday races. There will be 6 lane A finals (except in the case of 7 boats). Finals A and B will be rowed on Sunday. Should there be less than 5 boats in one of the other finals of a race, such a final will be deleted. M, W, JM-A, JW-A: All races will be rowed with preliminaries and finals on both days. All finals will be rowed. Starting order of the races will be in accordance with the currently valid FISA World Championship Rules. In case of less than 6 boats but not less than three boats per heat, a preliminary race will have to be rowed for the allocation of lanes. Wiener Ruderverband 9

Other Regulations 1. Combinations/Big Blades Big Blades are not permitted in J14 races. Combinations are handled in accordance with 16 RoR of the Austrian Rowing Federation. EXCEPTION: JM-B8+ and JW-B4x within the framework of a project of the Austria Rowing Federation. Combinations are admitted but have to wear uniform racing clothes during the race. 2. Liabilit The Organiser of the event is liable within the framework of legal provisions. Participants should provide on their own for appropriate material and personal insurance. No liability will be accepted on the part of the Organiser in case of any kind of damage possibly incurring. 4. Protection of Data With the registration of entries for the regatta, a Club will automatically agree to the disclosure of certain data concerning the members nominated such as photos, starting lists, or lists of results with photos and names. 5. Austrian Club Championships 2017 All Austrian rowers racing in Junior M&W categories A and B will be evaluated for their ranking in the Austrian Club Championships 2017. The winning crew of a race will be awarded the number of points allocated to each seat of the boat to that particular race. Any further boats crossing the finishing line will beawarded one point less per seat of the boat depending on its rank achieved. Coxswains do not count. In combinations the points achieved will be allocated to each of the clubs involved. 6.
