GOLF SHOP NEWS Welcome to the 2016 golfing season. We hope you have had an enjoyable winter and are ready for a great season of golf at your Danville Country Club. Once again we are looking forward to an exciting and active golfing season. We would like to add a special welcome to all the new and returning members this spring. If anyone has any questions that your golf staff can assist you with please do not hesitate to call the golf shop. Club Storage, Driving Range Program, Lessons, Ladies 9 Hole League, Ladies 18 Hole League, Men s Golf Association, Junior Golf Program, Tuesday Night League, Saturday Morning Tee Times, Handicaps, or anything we can help you with, Please Call. Ryan Moore will be returning to the Danville Country Club for his sixth season as the assistant golf professional. Ryan and I are available for golf lessons. Take advantage of this great spring and start the 2016 golfing season on the right foot and have one of your golf professionals take a look at your golf swing. Remember, practice does not make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect. Golf is a game of repetition, created by habits. Your golf game will become much more efficient when you can create good habits, followed by repetition. If you have not experienced a short game lesson or playing lesson, you might be missing the best way of lowering your golf scores. There is nothing more enjoyable as a golf instructor than to see your students improve. Once again we will be offering the Range Program, which is a great deal for those who enjoy practicing and a MUST for those who need a little push to help them work on their golf game. If you average 1.5 bags of balls per week, you would be money ahead with the range program. The Range Program was designed for you!!! Golf is one of the few sports that is fun to practice, whether alone, with a friend, or the whole family. The golf shop will continue to carry quality merchandise and golf equipment. We will be offering golf clubs, men s apparel, and ladies apparel. We will custom fit Titleist and Ping irons and woods. Demo Day will be May 3 rd (Tuesday) from 2:00 6:30, if you are interested in new clubs. This year we will continue with the Tuesday Night League. The format will be Modified Chapman, playing nine holes of golf, teeing off anytime of the day. There will be two person teams, pick your own partner, for an 18 week season. The team can consist of two men, two women, or a mixed team. The league will start April 26th, and will go through August 23 rd. There will be a sign up list in the golf shop. There will also be a sign up for those who feel that they can t commit for the whole season but would like to be a substitute. If you have any questions about the league, please give the golf shop a call. 217-442-6027. Spring Special (ends April 17 th ) Buy 3 Dozen of the New Titleist Pro-V, and get 1 Dozen Free!!
