CONCLUSION The COPF is aware of issues related to the candidacy of Tahiti for the games of 2019. The President Tauhiti NENA with the support of all his team is ready to meet this challenge. The country is behind the Polynesian sports movement to make of 2019 the games year and take advantage of this great opportunity to develop new sports infrastructures required for such an event. Polynesian youth will be the first to benefit from these facilities which meet its sporting, social and educational needs. The infrastructures for the games in 1963 and especially 1995 are still in used after all these long years and still allow Polynesian athletes to illustrate themselves in national, regional and international competitions. The 2019 Games will again allow all our Oceania cousins to take advantage of our legendary welcome and tight even more the ties that bind the values of sport, fair play and respect we have shared since the first Pacific Games. THE PACIFIC SPIRIT, We all have it more than ever inside us and Tahiti will be the carrier in 2019! 48
