Page 22 FBLA Leadership Camp 2016 The Lake Havasu High School Future Business Leaders of America (officers) attended the 2016 FBLA Arizona Leadership Camp at Camp Pine Summit in Prescott, Arizona September 22 nd through the 24 th. Six FBLA officers attended the camp along with our Advisor, Ms. Denny for the purpose of team building, gaining knowledge of good leadership, attending workshops, and of course, having fun! Every year the camp includes several activities, such as: basketball, volleyball, dodge ball, lip sync battle, rock climbing, ping pong, pool, and 10+ team building games. Each attendee was assigned a color team with around 20 other members, in which they came together to create a chant, a sign, and a team name. The teams participated in team-building games, some of which they competed against other teams resulting in a winning team at the end of the camp. Overall the officers in attendance achieved new knowledge of how to be a dynamic leader, motive and recruit new members, and brainstorm new fundraiser and community event ideas to better our FBLA chapter. Officers of FBLA pictured below from left to right: Charles (Historian), Ms. Denny (Advisor), Brenden (Public Relations/Sergeant of Arms), Savan (Secretary), Alexis (Vice-President), Jonathan (President), and Josh (Treasurer).
