All players are eligible for Varsity until they choose to become ineligible Ways to stay eligible: Do what is expected of a HOCO soccer player Ways to become ineligible: Not meet fitness test expectations Not meet academic expectations Not meet fundraiser expectations Not meet behavior expectations Not meet attendance expectations
A Standard Above Excellence, a Goal Beyond Victory

Grade Point Average Each Player must maintain an 80% overall average If a player is below that average, they will be put on an academic monitoring schedule. The coaches will see a copy of everyone s GPA and tardiness/absences every Friday during the season. If a player is failing ANY class or does not maintain an 80% overall average, they may miss parts or all of games.
All players must attend all practices for their specified team. If there is a reason as to why you will not be at practice, you need to contact your coach immediately as to why you are not going to be there. Effective excuses must be school related or any valid emergency.
All JV players must attend all HOME Varsity matches of your respective gender. You will get in free and there will be a sign in sheet at the concession stand. All Varsity players must attend all Varsity games. That means that the boys come early to watch the first half and that the girls stay late to watch the boys games. If there is a reason as to why you cannot attend, you need to let your coach know immediately.
Regardless of the time of the game, or the score, you are watching, cheering, interested and extremely supportive. Positive, positive, positive!
Coaches coach. Players play. Parents cheer. Parents should NEVER talk to a coach about playing time. If they do, it puts the coaches in an unwinnable situation and WILL effect your playing time in a negative way: The coach will not play you because it allows all parents to complain to gain playing time, even if you have earned it through hard work. Coaches will always do what we think is best for the team.
The best way to improve the team is to improve yourself
