Operations Manager Heather Gant, and Ally Dwiggens spearheaded the effort. They raised over $1,200 and the proceeds are to be used to buy playground equipment for the kids. When you re in the you may notice we have a new draft beer cooler. Mark Kelly found the cooler for us, and it s finally installed. I had plenty of help with the installation: Doug Stoutner, Jim Tiemann, and Ric Melton. Brad Walker, Josh Coggins, Nick Adams, Cory Cato, Chris Davis, Josh Tickner, and Cody Fry did the heavy lifting. The old cooler had to be removed over the top of the bar, and the new one brought in the same way. Thanks guys for a job well done. Hunting season is drawing near. The volunteers at Pleasant Hill are getting duck blinds, and deer stands repaired, and ready to go. A lot of time and effort is needed to keep such a valuable asset up to snuff. Mowing, spraying weeds, and general maintenance require the dedication of members to keep P.H in shape. Great job all. With this being said, I couldn t have done it without the help from these lovely ladies and gentleman: Heather Fencel, Kay Brands, Sherry Cowan, Mary Smith, Debbie Wedding, Rich Lloyd, and Allyson Dwiggins. I had an absolute blast working with you! Many thanks to you for helping me with a big project! If anyone knows of a school or an organization that may be getting rid of gently used playground equipment, please send them my way. We are trying something new with the lunch menu this month. Each day of the week will have its own. We are also switching up things for Monday nights. During the queen of hearts we are offering several different options for snacks. The Club will be closed on Monday, September 4, in observance of Labor Day. The will be drawn on Tuesday, September 5. Please mark your calendars. I hope everyone had a great summer.
