Chapter I. Organisation. Article 1. Definition of the event. The event SPA SIX HOURS 2016 has the status of International Event and consists of the following series: 1 : Spa Six Hours Endurance Race 2 : FIA Masters Historic Formula One Championship 3 : FIA Masters Historic Sports Car Championship 4 : Masters Gentlemen Drivers Pre-66 GT 5 : Masters Pre-66 Touring Cars Championship 6 : Masters 70s Celebration 7 : Historic Touring Cars U2TC & HTCC (MRL) 8 : Formula Junior Historic Racing Association 9 : Woodcote Trophy & Stirling Moss Trophy (MRL) 10 : Historic Grand Prix Cars Association 11 : British Sports - GT & Saloon Challenge 12 : Historic Sports Car Club (Closed Wheel Race) The series 2. FIA Masters Historic Formula One Championship & 3. FIA Masters Historic Sports Car Championship are part of an International Series of the FIA. They will be organized within the scope of the FIA International Sporting Code prescriptions as well as the Supplementary Regulations Round No 7-2016 FIA Masters Historic Formula One Championship Round No 7-2016 FIA Masters Historic Sports Car Championship VISA OF THE ASN No. C-S-SSH-FIA-021(13/06/2016) and VISA OF THE FIA: 7MH.BEL.060716. Article 2. Organisation. The event will be organized within the scope of the FIA International Sporting Code prescriptions in compliance with the 2016 prescriptions of the RACB Sport and these supplementary regulations. Modifications, amendments and/or changes to these Supplementary Regulations will be announced only by numbered and dated Bulletins (issued by the Organiser, the Stewards or the Clerk of the Course). Each car must meet the mandatory safety equipment of historic cars competing in Belgium, published by the RACB on Thursday, January 04 th 2016. The regulations of each serie/organisation can be found on the website of Roadbook at www.spasixhours.com/en/regulations.html All the entrants undertake to respect these texts by the very fact of their entry or of their participation in the event. Article 3. Direction: Clockwise 3.7 Length of races: According to the timetable. See article 5. The timetable can be modified by the Stewards, in agreement with the Race Director, if necessary. 3.8 Duration of the Event : The event begins with the sporting checks (signing on) and ends at the end of the following delays : - period of protest or appeal; - end of scrutineering and / or signing on after the race in accordance with the code. 3.9 Sporting check (Signing on) : For all the drivers : F1 Pit Building 1 st Floor Room 115 Thursday Sept. 15 from 08:00 till 19:00 and/or Friday Sept. 16 from 08:00 till 60 minutes before your qualifying practice Transponders will be recorded. Only AMB transponders will be used. If your car has no transponder or a Chronolec transponder, we will provide you free of charge with an AMB transponder in exchange for the licence of the driver. Licence from a non-european country : International degree for racetrack with a letter of authorization from the ASN The entrant and the competitor must sign their waiver of appeal (insurance) themselves. The driver may not take part in the practice or race before having signed the waiver of appeal. All competitors and drivers must conform with 2016 FIA International Sporting Code Appendix L regarding: licences medical check helmets overalls. Licences must be valid for the outstanding year for historic races, with the appropriate historic level, national or international. 3.15 Briefing : Briefing instructions will be given at signing on for each driver. The driver must sign the briefing himself as evidence of receipt. Non-presence at the briefing will result in a fine of 150. The promoter of each serie may, under his own responsability, hold an oral briefing for his drivers. The briefing will be done in agreement with the Race Director of the meeting and the Clerk(s) of the Course of the present race/serie and in the presence of the latters. It is the responsability of the promoter of each serie to ensure that all the drivers got acquainted with the racing procedures. The podium for the Spa Six Hours endurance race will be the Endurance Podium. 3.17 Parc fermé : A series organiser may check the eligibility of its cars after the race under the scope of the specific regulations of his serie. 5.2 Opening hours of the Paddocks 4 Opening hours of the paddocks Paddocks Access via Blanchimont Gate Tuesday September 13 : from 20:00 to 22:00 The teams arriving before 20:00 will be parked on standby in the overflow area. Wednesday September 14 : from 07:30 to 22:00 Thursday September 15 : from 07:30 to 22:00 Friday September 16 : from 07:30 to 22:00 Saturday September 17 : from 07:00 Sunday September 18 : from 07:00 Thank you to leave the paddocks before 21:00 (9pm). Station Total Francorchamps Ster From Friday, the Blanchimont gate entry and the Ster gate entry remain permanently accessible 24 hours a day. Paddock 2 1 Entrée Ster Gate OPEN 07:00 --> 24:00 Overflow parking P l e a s e f o l l o w t h e i n s t r u c t i o n s o f t h e marshals at the gate. They will guide you to your location in the paddock.
