Announcements 11/26/13 Always remember the A, B, C s! NMS Morning Connection: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6tygjoxojs&feature=youtu.be Act Responsibly by reporting to staff members if you see someone breaking a school rule. Be Respectful by not writing on the walls in the stairwell. That is destruction of school property (check your agenda book for the consequence). Communicate Effectively by showing your pass to a lunch supervisor if you plan to eat in a teacher s classroom. If you do not have a pass then you need to stay in the lunch room. Cafeteria Lunch Schedule CRAZY TACO IN A BAG OR HOT HAM AND CHEESE 2 Finish strong by doing your homework! School days until Thanksgiving break! 1. Only 349 students are still eligible to win the Kindle Fire for perfect attendance. Reminder to be at school every day! Also, a permission slip is available for those with perfect attendance for the Parade of Lights, on December 7 th. If you qualify and have a permission slip filled out, you may be chosen to represent Northside in the parade!

2. Attention Peer Leaders: This is a reminder that we will be meeting after school today from 3:15-4:00 p.m. in room 120. Attendance is mandatory. See Mrs. Wagner if you have questions. 3. Students please check the lost and found for your missing items. We have accumulated quite the collection after the lock-in! It is located across from the Commons. 4. Builder's Club will meet this Wednesday in Mrs. Doty's room at 7:20. 5. From the media center... Lunchtime book club meets this Wednesday during all lunch periods in the library. We will be playing Percy Jackson Jeopardy and previewing the newest book by Rick Riordan. All interested students are welcome. Passes are available in the library. No Manga Club this week. There will be a Cosplay informational meeting after school in the library on December 3, from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. Permission slips are required. See Mrs. Cain for more info.

6. Just a reminder that students should leave library books and other valuables in your lockers before going to lunch. A number of students have reported library books disappearing from the Commons area in the past few days, and replacement costs can be expensive. 7. Any student registered for next spring's Washington DC trip that is interested in fund-raising needs to see Mr. Lax. Just in time for holiday gift-giving, those going to DC in May are invited to sell Texas Roadhouse gift certificates. Participant will keep 10% of their sales to help offset the cost of the trip and earn some spending money. Please see Mr. Lax as soon as possible to take advantage of this opportunity. The Thanksgiving holiday weekend will be full of opportunities to hit up friends and relatives to support you in your fund-raising effort. 8.
