Astounding Inventions Reminder Please bring your Invention Log and Display Board to the MPR before school on Wednesday, November 18 th. Playground Supervision Playground supervision begins at 7:35 a.m. and students are not to arrive before that time. There is no supervision after school. All students must go directly home when dismissed. Students that are dismissed early cannot wait for older siblings unless they are supervised by a parent or guardian. TR Food Drive Thanksgiving is a time of year for counting our many blessings and sharing our bounty with others who are not as fortunate as we are. Girl Scout Troop 744 is organizing a food drive at to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank, which feeds over 200,000 residents of Orange County each month. Second Harvest supplies food to church pantries, shelters, senior centers, after school programs, and homes for abused women and children. The people served include the working poor, children, seniors on fixed incomes, single parents, the disabled, the homeless and individuals experiencing medical emergencies or recent job layoffs right here in Irvine. Please participate and give thanks for your many blessings by bringing any type of nonperishable food that families would enjoy to Every child one voice

Examples of the most needed items are: peanut butter & jelly, rice, canned tuna or chicken, soup, pasta & pasta sauce, canned vegetables (preferably low in sodium), canned fruit or applesauce, whole grain cereal, and health snacks such as granola bars or dried fruit. Dear families, 1-2-3 o clock, 4 o clock rock! It s that time of year again, where the magic happens on stage. The first meeting for this year s talent show is coming! This interest meeting will be held in the MPR at on Tuesday, November 17 at 6:30pm. Any student who is interested in participating in this year s talent show, Around The Clock should attend the meeting with their parents. We will discuss information about this year s show, audition dates, rehearsal details, and ways you can be a part of the magic. It is highly recommended that if you are planning to be a part of the show this year, you should attend this meeting with your parent. See you there! Yearbook Cover Art Contest! Theme: Me and My Earth ers are invited to submit a drawing, painting or collage representing the above theme, in a standard Letter form (8.5 by 11 inch) in Portrait Format by Wednesday, November 18 th 2015. Please leave your artwork in a transparent sleeve clearly labelled with your name and grade, at the front office. The winner s art will make the cover of the yearbook and wins a free one as a prize.
