1. WELCOME AND INTRODUCTION Welcome to Rally Sweden Historic! For the fifth time we will organise an event with historical cars in conjuction to the WRC event Rally Sweden. The Rally Sweden Historic will take place 16-17 February 2018, in the regions of Värmland and like previous years also visit the neighbouring country Norway. Locations and Route New location for Rally HQ is Hotel Selma Spa in Sunne, app. 35km from the Service Park in Torsby Administrative checks will be at Rally HQ in Sunne and scrutineering will be located in Torsby on the 15 th of February The length of the route i s about 460 km with special stages covering approximately 136 km. The rally will run in Sweden and Norway. The start of the rally will take place on Friday the 16 th of February in Torsby and finish on the 17 th of February at the service park in Torsby, where the Podium Ceremony and Prize Giving also will take place. Rally Sweden/Rally Sweden Historic Organising Team --------------------------------------------- FIA Environment accreditation Rally Sweden has become the one of the first motor sport event in the world to achieve the accreditation Achievement of Excellence from the FIA Institute s environment programme. The framework forms part of a broader initiative between the FIA and the FIA Institute aimed at evaluating and reducing the environmental impact of motor sport. One important factor is the number of print-outs made from various documents. Information documents like this will only be published on the event website and a bare minimum of supplementary regulations will be printed for the key officials and competitors. ENTRY DETAILS 4.1 LICENCE CLASSES The rally is open for Swedish A, B and C drivers and co-drivers with a valid license for 2018 as well as for foreign competitors with a valid licence. Foreign drivers must submit an approval from their ASN together with the Entry Form. 4.2 CAR CLASSES Cars complying with the FIA Appendix K and with a valid FIA HTP document. Class 1: up to and including 1961. Class 2-5: up ta and including 1965. Class 7: up to and including 1971. Class 8: up to and including 1975. Class 9: up to and including 1981. Class 10: up to and including 1990. Valid HTP including FIA homologation document shall be presented. Those wishing to take part in Rally Sweden Historic 2018 must fill in the electronic entry form published on www.rallysweden.com duly completed before the closing date for entries (18-01-16). An entry list will be published on the website. After that, those on the list must pay the entry fee at the latest on Friday 26 January. The entry will only be accepted when the total amount of the Entry Fee is paid. Foreign drivers must submit an approval from their ASN together with the Entry Form. The number of accepted entries are depending on the number of entries in the WRC event. The organiser reserves the right to decide which entries will be accepted. 4
4.4 ENTRY FEES Entry fee: the entry fee willbe as stipulated in the Supplementary Regulations 5. TYRE Only tyres in accordance to FIA Appendix-K Art. 8.4 and winter tyres approved by the Swedish ASN are permitted, number of tyres are free. Road section tyres are permitted 6. SERVICE PARK 6.1 Location GPS Coordinater: N60 9,138 E12 59,936 The Service Park will be established at Torsby Airport Entrants are allocated an area of 10 m * 10 m. 7. IMPORT OF VEICLES AND SPAR PARTS From the European Union Competitors from the European Union do not need to make any special custom clearence for temporary import of cars and equipment on arrival in Sweden. From outside the European Union If you are importing the rally car, service vehicles and/or spare parts/equipment from outside the Erupean Union you have to report to the customs on arrival in Sweden.
