Type For dimensions, technical details see drawing 2-49-0086-03-001/001 (appendix 1) 2. Materials: Stainless steel liner incl. neck: 1.4301 in acc. with DIN EN 10088-2 (AISI 304) Fitting: 1.4301 in acc. with DIN 10088 (AISI 304) CO 2 valve: Ms with Sn-Ni coating Seals, sealing rings: NBR Top and bottom rings: plastic, polypropylene (PP) 3. Volume: Beverage chamber: Filling volume: Gas chamber: 10.3 litres +/- 100 ml (operating overpressure max. 3 bar) max. 10.0 L 5.3 litre +/- 100 ml (Gas volume approx. 85 gr at 5 C and max. filling pressure of 7 bar overpressure) 4. Cleaning: Internal cleaning: steam: 2.4 bar and 125 C hot water: 2.4 bar and 125 C alkaline cleaning*: 2% and 95 C acidic cleaning*: 2% and 95 C *(chloride and halogen free) Important: Due to the geometry of the liner, carry out impulse cleaning External cleaning: hot water: 80 C 8. Fitting data: Stroke CO 2 side: 4 mm Stroke beer side: 5 mm Max. sealing force: 1000 N 9. CO 2 filling (filling line): General: The CO 2 used is from the food industry and has a purity level of 99.97 V/V%. The CO 2 must be free from water and particles, such as rust particles from the cylinder. For this purpose, a micro-filter should be inserted into the CO 2 line. Recommendation: filter elements of sintered bronze with a grain size of approx. 25 μm. Maximum filling pressure: 7 bar overpressure (at 5 C this corresponds to approx. 85 gr CO 2 ) Conditions for CO 2 filling (see drawing, appendix 2): - tappet Ø 5.8 mm (rounded and burr-free = very important) - stroke 6-8 mm On delivery, new kegs are pre-stressed with CO 2 to approx. 1 bar overpressure. When filling new kegs, pre-stress CO 2 must be completely replaced at least once. For safety reasons, CO 2 filling must be carried out either during or after filling with beer The CO 2 valve must be kept free of any drips/spray from water or beer. CO 2 filling tappet must be movable to prevent any damage occurring to the O rings on the filling valve. Filling should be carried out during or after filling with beer (at a low temperature) 10. Beer filling: New kegs are pre-stressed with air to approx. 1 bar overpressure.

Calibration of the filling line: Ensure to align the Keg so that the CO 2 valve is in the correct position for filling max. axial force on the CO 2 valve is 100 N Align the cleaning and filling heads evenly in longitudinal and lateral directions (during maintenance, pay special attention to fittings that are not straight) Contact pressures: required, centric load on neck 700 N Maximum centric load on neck 1000 N 12. No Labelling on: Keg marking CO 2 valve 13.
