Captains Report We had a good turnout of Nomads for this Month s Game, this could be partly due to the fact that there was the option of playing 1 st Round of the Gary Player in this Monthly Game, and only 2 apologies for Prize Giving were received! The Winning scores were, A division 33, B division 35 & C division 36! Average for the Day 28.5. Congratulations to Barney Fourie & MC Pienaar on receiving their 10 year ties! Thanks you very much too all our Sponsors, especially the Sponsor of the Day: SPECIALISED TRAINING SERVICES Free State Nomads have a very busy schedule ahead, it starts off with Northerns 50 th Anniversary @ Wingate Park, the first week-end in September, then there is Botswana Nationals 14 th 16 th September @ Wingate Park Most important of all: Vice-Captain, Mok Lazzaro s Andrew Mentis Day, in aid of Choc Children s Cancer Charity on Monday 25 th September (Public Holiday) @ Schoeman Park, it is not limited to Nomads only, so make up a 4-Ball, come along and enjoy the Day! After visiting Dewetsdorp, I realised that, due to the lack of facilities and no Club House, it would be impossible for us to have a Monthly Game there this year! We have therefore re-scheduled the Game on the 9 th September @ Dewetsdorp, to Sunday 10 th September, at Tempe and will play our Monthly Game on the 15th October @ Bloemfontein. Those of you who are wondering about the Veldskoen, normally in October, due to the very full calendar for 2017, it has been move to February 2018 Free State Nomads are celebrating our 20 th Anniversary on the week-end of 17th 19 th November, the entry forms have been sent out, please get them in ASAP, closing date end of September! The average scores for the Day were as follows: A Div. 28.0, B Div. 27.8, and C Div. 29.5 Average score for the Day was 29.5, this means only 4 Nomads will be cut, 19 no change & 17 will gain.
