ABOUT JAYBACKERS The Jaybackers Organization strengthens and promotes broad-based support for intercollegiate athletics at Creighton University by serving as ambassadors and providing funding to offset the increasing costs of competing at the Division I level. Through the years, the Jaybackers Organization has touched the lives of many CU student-athletes young women and men who have worked to balance academic excellence with superior sports performance. Many have gone on to represent Creighton University in professional sports, many more have earned a college degree and the means to pursue successful careers, and all have grown from their association with the CU athletics program. The long-range goal of the Jaybackers Organization is to raise 100 percent of the money needed to fund Creighton University s athletic scholarships on an annual basis. Creighton s annual scholarship bill for student-athletes currently stands at nearly $5 million and gifts to the Jaybackers Organization currently pay only a fraction of that bill. Jaybackers Organization funding helps supplement many areas of the Athletics budget which ensures the future growth and success of all Creighton University athletics programs which currently include eight women s sports (basketball, cross country, golf, rowing, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball) and six men s sports (baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer and tennis). Over 2,800 families and businesses joined Jaybackers in 2014-15 and gifts to the organization totaled over $4.2 million, reaching all-time highs in 17 of the last 18 years. In the last 19 years, the Jaybackers Organization has more than quadrupled in members while gifts have increased from $376,000 in 1996-97 to over $4.2 million in 2014-15. For more information about joining Jaybackers, contact the Creighton Athletics Development Office by phone at 402-280-3498 or by e-mail at athleticdevelopment@creighton.edu. 218 219 220 221 222 223 224 217 216 217 218 118 215 118 116 219 119 220 221 222 223 120 121 122 123 119 120 121 122 123 125 224 225 124 125 126 225 226 227 214 114 114 A B C 127 127 127 228 213 113 113 128 128 128 229 212 112 112 D 129 129 129 230 110 101 109 108 106 105 104 103 102 211 231 209 109 108 107 106 105 104 103 102 201 210 208 232 207 206 205 204 203 202 209 201 208 207 206 205 204 203 202 S W E N A CREIGHTON BENCH C OPPONENT BENCH B OFFICIAL TABLE D MEDIA SEATING

This rule is in accordance with Section 170(l)(2)(b) of the Internal Revenue Code. In this brochure, we ve listed the value of benefits within each level of 2015-16 Jaybacker membership. In order to deduct 100 percent of a Jaybacker contribution, the donor must submit in writing - via a letter or an e-mail - a waiver of benefits at the time of making a pledge and/or contribution. A waiver of benefits communication from the donor precludes the donor from receiving rights to any goods or services as a quid pro quo, anything in exchange for a contribution. By submitting a waiver of benefits communication, the donor further understands that he or she is ineligible to purchase or renew men s basketball season tickets in donation-required sections of the arena and that he or she will not receive parking passes, gifts, apparel items or any other tangible benefit. For more information regarding tax-deductibility, donors are encouraged to consult with a legal or financial advisor. To learn about other 100-percent tax-deductible giving opportunities to Creighton Athletics including the use of foundation-based gifts, please contact the Creighton Athletics Development Office at (402) 280-3498.

Coat racks and limited seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The Jaybacker Hospitality Area is available before, during and after games. About Our Priority Seating Point System, Ranking & Seat Location Improvement During its men s basketball season ticket renewal phase (months of June through September), Creighton Athletics uses its priority seating point system to determine the ranking list of season ticket holders and who is contacted should better seats become available ( better is defined as seats that are closer to the middle of the court or closer to the arena floor). Season tickets that become available due to cancellations or due to Jaybackers decreasing their pledge from last year during the renewal phase are made available to season ticket holders in priority seating point system ranking order who can either purchase the season tickets or decline the option. Men s basketball priority seating points can only be obtained by giving to the following Jaybacker allocations: General Fund, Men s Basketball, Coaching Excellence, Leadership, Scholarships, Sixth Man Club or any athletics endowed scholarship that is available to all student-athletes. Please note that giving to these men s basketball allocations is not transferable for other CU athletic program Jaybacker benefits. The four parts of the point system are: 1. 10 points for every consecutive year as a men s basketball season ticket holder (maximum of 10 years including the 2015-16 season). 2. 5 points for every $100 donated to Jaybackers over the last five years (excluding the 2015-16 season). 3. 10 points for every $100 donated to Jaybackers (General Fund, Men s Basketball, Coaching Excellence, Leadership, Scholarships, Sixth Man Club or any athletics endowed scholarship that is available to all student-athletes) as a 2015-16 Jaybacker member. 4. 10 points for being a Creighton University alum (account holder, spouse or children, 10 points maximum). All season ticket holders those with lower bowl seats or upper bowl seats or those with both as well as first-time season ticket purchasers in 2015-16 or multi-year purchasers are given a ranking based on point accumulation.
