CANCELLATION POLICY - Deposits are not refundable under any circumstances. Deposit is promptly refundable if reservations cannot be honored due to filled schedule or condition beyond our control. 2. Payment of Charter Fee - Damage Deposit The total charter fee is payable in full prior to boarding the houseboat. A valid credit card (not a debit or check card) must be presented for a security deposit. We reserve the right to charge said card for any and all charges, damages, and missing equipment at any time. By signing the rental agreement you are agreeing to this statement. Prior to departure you will be required to sign a houseboat charter agreement making you responsible for loss or damage to the boat while under your operation. 3. Departure You will be given a check-out cruise prior to your departure to acquaint you with the operation of the boat. Your houseboat will be ready for boarding sometime between 12:00 p.m. and 5:00/6:00 p.m. or as soon as our staff and maids have completed their work. You can arrive as early as you want to on departure day but BE PREPARED TO WAIT until your boat is ready. If you get on it earlier than expected then think of it as a bonus. Most of the houseboats are returning the same morning you are scheduled to depart. It takes some time to clean and check these boats. You and your party may have to wait for your houseboat to be ready. The best thing to do would be to call us and see when your boat might be available. THANK YOU.. Late Departure After 5:00 p.m. All houseboats must be out of the harbor at least one hour before dark to give you sufficient time to find a cove and tie up for the night. Late arrivals will spend the night on a sea anchor at the marina for your safety. THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW Gasoline for operation of engines is NOT included in quoted rates. All tanks are full at departure time and refilled on return. You pay only for fuel used. A charge of $50.00 per hour is assessed for late return of houseboat. Call for departure time - First party ready to load gets first boat ready to go - some boats may be ready early. There is a $50.00 extra charge per pet on 50 foot only. NO PETS ON 60 BOAT! There is no boat rental insurance policy offered by any insurance company. It s not like renting a car where you can get insurance. It is just not possible. You can check with your homeowners and see if it qualifies. Therefore you are responsible for damages to the houseboat due to negligence, such as damaged props, lower units, out-drives due to hitting the bottom and not tying to shoreline properly. You are also responsible for broken windows, holes in pontoons, broken rails, etc. However, we will not hold you responsible for damages due to normal wear. In addition, mechanical items can and do break due to extended use, and you will not be charged for such occurrences.

Because of our location we are only minutes away from prime fi shing on either Bull Shoals Lake or the world famous White River. Whether your preference be bass, crappie, walleye, white bass, trout, panfi sh, or all of the above, at some time of the year we can accommodate you, your friends, and family. If on your stay, catching on the lake slows down, you can always modify your plans to fi sh for trout on the White River or, if you have come to fi sh the White River for trout and would like to try something different, may we suggest a fi shing trip for bass on the lake? A suggestion we make to all of our customers is: when coming here for the fi rst time, forget everything you have ever learned about fi shing. Truly, fi shing the crystal clear waters of the Ozark Mountains is unique to this area alone. We recommend for river fi shing an ultra light to a mediumaction rod and reel, to 6 lb. line maximum. For the lake, light to medium heavy with 6 to 10 lbs. test is best. Better yet, just bring one light and one medium action combination. As far as line and tackle, why not just wait until you are here since conditions may change overnight. The friendly staff and guides at the boat dock will be happy to advise you on the right line test and the best choice of bait when you arrive. Whether you are a beginner, a weekend fi sherman, or an expert, your fi shing vacation in Bull Shoals can provide a lot of fun and memories you will not soon forget. One more tip...we would like to suggest that you take a guided fi shing trip, either on the lake or White River, or both, when you fi rst get here. The education you will receive about fi shing in the Ozarks will be well worth the investment.
