SACRED HEART PRIMARY SCHOOL NEWSLETTER Friday 21 st October 2016 www.shstalbans.catholic.edu.au Phone: 9366 0022 or 9366 0266 Principal: Ms Dianne Blake Deputy-Principal: Mrs Krys Bolkunowicz Secretary: Mrs Annmarie Zahra, Miss Anh Do & Mrs Karen Lacerna Parish Priest: Fr. O Reilly Sacred Heart/Emmaus Mass Times: Saturday: 5:00pm (SH) 6:30pm (Emmaus), Sunday: 8:00am, 9:00am (Emmaus), 10:15am, 11:30am UNITY POEM Why can t we just understand? And take each other by the hand, How can we sit and bear, And just not give a care? We have to be polite, Stand together and unite, Does it really matter if we re black or white? Just because we re different doesn t mean we have to fight, No need to judge anyone by the colour of their skin, I mean racism is like an unwritten sin, We shouldn t jump to a conclusion, No more colour exclusion, Because words also attack, Like a knife in the back, We don t have to judge each other by the colour of our face, It s 2016, it doesn t matter about the race! We only have one heart, So don t tear it apart. BLESSING MASS - PREP, 1, 2 By Therese and Sandy 6H This weekend is the last Blessing Mass for all Prep, grade 1 and 2 children for 2016.
