This document contains the particularities of above mentioned the event and is governed by the International Sporting Code of the FIA, the prescriptions of the RACB Sport, the latest version of the General Conditions and Prescriptions Rallycross Challenge Europe (RCE), the Standard Regulations for events of the Rallycross Challenge Europe 2016 and the present Supplementary Regulations. Modifications and/or amendments to these Supplementary Regulations will only be announced by numbered and dated Appendices, published by the Organiser or the Stewards of the Meeting. For all articles not specified in this document, the Standard Regulations for events of the Rallycross Challenge Europe are valid. Organisation 2.1. The Belgian RallyCross Association vzw, Pauwengraaf 2, 3630 Maasmechelen, will organise an event counting towards the Rallycross Challenge Europe 2016 in accordance with the International Sporting Code (and its appendices) of the FIA, the 2016 FIA Regulations for Rallycross and the present Supplementary Regulations. 2.2 A support race can also be organized according the national rules. Running of the event Official notice board Situated at the entrance to the cafeteria in the paddock. Administrative checking Situated at the information center at the paddock. Participants to the Event have to be holder of a valid licence of a minimum level as stipulated in the Sporting Regulations of the series. Technical scrutineering Situated under the pergola to the left of the entrance to the paddock There is a maximum number of 100 starters for the Rallycross Challenge Europe for the total of the four Divisions. The maximum number of starters for the Retro Cup/Limburg Cup is 50. There will be 4 qualifying heats with maximum 5 cars starting abreast in each race over 4 laps. The semi-finals will be run over 5 laps. The finals will be run over 6 laps. 5. Fees The entry fee has to be paid to the organizer. Payment must be made at the registration table with cash and exact change. An additional fee of 350 must be paid by a competitor who refuses to carry the organizer s sponsors advertising on his car. No car will be allowed to start unless the registration fee has been fully paid.
6. Insurance In compliance with the legal prescriptions, the Organiser has contracted one or several insurance(s) guaranteeing the following risk(s): Third Party Civil Liability: o Bodily injury : unlimited o Material damage : max. 100.000.000,00 Collective Accident Volunteers (Axa) Legal Protection Organisers The competitors accept the terms and conditions of said insurance, which are available upon written request. 7. Protest and appeals All protests will be lodged in accordance with the International Sporting Code. All protests must be made in writing and handed to the clerk of the course or his assistant, or in their absence any of the stewards of the meeting, together with the sum of 500. If the protest requires the dismantling and re-assembly of different parts of a car, the claimant must make a deposit of 3.000. Competitors have the right to appeal, as prescribed in Article 15 of the International Sporting Code. This appeal must be lodged in writing at the ASN of the series organiser: KNAF, PO Box 274, 2300 AG Leiden, The Netherlands, a.slotboom@knaf.nl. The amount of the national appeal fee is 1.750. Prizes The podium ceremony on the circuit will be held immediately after the races. The winners of the 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd prizes must be present wearing their race overalls. Failure to attend this ceremony will be penalized by the loss of any monetary award / benefit associated with the corresponding position at the end of the race. The Prize Giving for all Divisions will take place one hour after the final results are published in the cafeteria of the paddock. 9. Other information 9.1 Fire extinguishers Each Driver is responsible for ensuring that a single extinguisher of minimum 5 kg is available within his own team area inside the paddock. 9.2 Drivers Liaison Officer The Drivers Liaison Officer will be recognisable by coloured vest. He/she will be able to be reached at the Driver s Paddock during the race. 9.3 Protection of the environment Each driver is requested to ensure that a plastic sheet (minimum dimensions 4 x 5 metres) is spread on the ground in the place reserved for his team where work is to be done on his car, in order to prevent any pollution. 9.4 Circuit The paddock of the Duivelsberg Circuit is opened: Friday Saturday Sunday 10h00 22h00 07h30 22h00 07h30 22h00 On arrival, the participants first have to report at the welcome desk at the entrance. There is a possibility to stay overnight in the paddock. No noise at night between 22h30 and 07h00. For non-compliance a fine of 125 will be applied. This fine has to be paid immediately after the notificatino. In case of non-payment of the fine, the penalty will be the exclusion of the event. In the paddock, there is a speed limit of 5 km/h. The first offense will be punished by a fine of 125. In case of non-payment of the fine or a second offense, the penalty will be the exclusion of the event. 9.5 Waste Trash bags are provided. Trash bags must be deposited in the trash bins. Used tires, batteries and metallic materials must be carried by the participants. 10. Authorisation These Regulations have been approved by BORA with Visa n 2016/1-RCE, the RACB Sport with Visa n RX-MAA-RCE-007.
