There is still time to turn in information regarding veterans. Make sure you check out our Wall of Honor. FILL THE DOME The students at Trinity will be participating in Fill the Dome (a youth led food drive) in the Fargo/ Moorhead area. The food collected will be used to restock the Great Plains Food Bank. Each school participating in the drive is assigned a square to fill on the Fargodome floor with non-perishable food. We are collecting the following items: November 7-11 Boxed goods (cereal, mac n cheese, dinner and/or baking mixes November 14-18 Condiments (jelly, peanut butter, ketchup, mustard) Donated items may be brought to the classrooms. We greatly appreciate your help in collecting for the food bank. These are some of our 3 rd graders from last year arranging Trinity donations in the Fargodome. PARENT SURVEY In an effort to improve system practices and to evaluate our Catholic Identity, Trinity Elementary is conducting a parent survey. We value your opinion and ask that you take the time to complete this survey. There are a couple of options available for you in order to participate: Complete the survey on your own computer. Type this link into your browser using Chrome or Firefox. http://eprovesurveys.advanc-ed.org/surveys/#/action/9444/56648 Computers will be available at each school during Parent/Teacher conferences for you to complete the survey. We ask that each parent complete a survey. If you have students in another JPII school, you will be asked to complete a survey for that specific school as well. The answer to the question, What is the age of your oldest child? is in reference to the school you are completing the survey. Please be assured that your responses to this survey will be anonymous. Your cooperation and support in completing the surveys will be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Davonne Eldredge VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES We still need volunteers for the Pizza Ranch fundraiser on Monday, November 14th from 5-8 PM. Volunteers will bus and wipe down tables. This is a GREAT Family opportunity to help out! If you are interested, please sign up here: http://signup.com/go/i6lidc Calling all bakers! We would like to have people bring pies for the teachers by Wednesday, November 23rd. This is a great way to show them that we appreciate all they do for our children. PARKING Please use the lane next to the sidewalk for drop off and pick up only, as was the intended use. With the cold weather approaching, parents with small children appreciate the convenience and availability. With the cooperation of drivers and students learning the routine, the process will speed up and be available for more to use. There is a parking route map on the Trinity website as a reference. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our students safe and maintaining that things run smoothly. DECORATED PUMPKINS The students did an awesome job in decorating the pumpkins for the Book Character Pumpkin Decorating Contest! Our students have lots of talent and great imaginations! All participants received a prize! HALLOWEEN FUN A big thanks to all the those that donated and the volunteers that were so creative with costumes, games and food for the classroom parties.
