TRAINING CAMP NOTES Camp Roster The Senators 2014-15 camp roster includes 57 players: Five goaltenders, 19 defenceman and 33 forwards. Seventeen (17) players participated in the 2014 rookie camp and tournament in Ottawa and London, Ont. The list of camp invitees is built primarily around the Senators draft. Twenty-eight (28) players were selected by Ottawa in NHL drafts, 11 players were signed as free agents, 10 players were obtained in trades, seven players are on professional tryouts and one player is on an amateur tryouts. The Senators 2013-14 season training camp roster also included 57 players: Seven goaltenders, 17 defencemen and 33 forwards. The list of camp invitees was built primarily around the Senators draft. Thirty-five (35) players were selected by Ottawa in NHL drafts, 12 players were free agent signings, seven were acquired via trade and three were on professional tryout agreements with the club. Rookie Tournament The Senators participated in their 14th rookie camp and tournament from Sept. 12-15. This year s tournament was held in London, Ont., with the Chicago Blackhawks, Pittsburgh Penguins and Toronto Maple Leafs also participating.
