The players and coaching staff will only be available for interviews at Scotiabank Place following their practices and, or off-ice workouts. Media availability for practices at the Bell Sensplex will also take place at Scotiabank Place when the players return to their dressing room. 4 Training camp notes CAMP ROSTER The Senators camp roster includes 55 players: six goaltenders, 16 defencemen and 33 forwards. Eighteen (18) players participated in the 2009 rookie camp and tournament in Kitchener, Ont. The list of camp invitees was built primarily around the Senators draft. Twenty-three (23) were selected by Ottawa in NHL entry drafts, nine were acquired in trades, 13 as free agents signings, seven on try-out agreements and three on AHL contracts. The Senators camp roster includes 54 players: six goaltenders, 18 defencemen and 30 forwards. Eighteen (18) players participated in the 2008 rookie camp and tournament in Kitchener, Ont. The list of camp invitees was built primarily around the Senators draft. Twenty-two (22) were selected by Ottawa in NHL entry drafts, five were acquired in trades, 16 as free agents signings, and 11 on try-out agreements. ROOKIE TOURNAMENT The Senators participated in their eighth rookie camp and tournament this September. This year s tournament was in Kitchener, Ont., with the Florida Panthers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Toronto Maple Leafs participating. The Senators finished with a record: 4-1 win over Pittsburgh; 4-3 loss to Boston; and, 7-1 win over Toronto. CHANGES TO THE SEASON SCHEDULE Please note the following time changes to the schedule since the original announcement by the National Hockey League (all times eastern): Nov. 14 vs. N.Y. Rangers now 2 p.m. start Dec. 30 vs. Colorado now 7 p.m. start Jan. 3 vs. Philadelphia now 1 p.m. start March 9 at Edmonton now 9:30 p.m. start March 11 at Calgary now 9:30 p.m. start March 20 at Dallas now 2 p.m. start PRE-SEASON TELEVISION BROADCASTS The Senators first two home pre-season games, Wednesday, Sept. 16 against the Florida Panthers and Saturday, Sept. 19 against the Montreal Canadiens will be broadcast by Rogers Television 22. The third Senators home pre-season game against the Boston Bruins on Friday, Sept. 25 will be televised by TSN2. RDS will broadcast the Canadiens home game in Montreal against the Senators on Friday, Sept. 18.
