Member s Opening Day Scramble- Saturday May 9 th Format: 4 ABCD Scramble Format All players sign up individually and are randomly paired by the Golf Shop Players are separated into A, B, C, D Categories based on Handicap 8:00 a.m. Buffet Breakfast 9:30 a.m. Shotgun Start *Pari-mutuel Betting Available until 9:15 a.m. Cost $60(Billed to Club Account) Deadline for Entry May 8 th @ 5:00 P.M. Men s Season Long Best Ball Sign-Up Deadline May 10th Format: Two- Man Better Ball Match Play (Handicap strokes applied based on the lowest handicap player in the match.) Pick your own partner. Players in need of a partner may sign up however the Golf Shop will not Pair Partners. Each round of matches will have a period of approximately 4-5 weeks to be played. If your personal schedule interferes, please do not sign up to play. Men s Ryder Cup versus Avon Oaks Country Club June 13 th & June 14 th War on the North Shore Elyria Country Club and Avon Oaks Country Club go at it in this Men s Ryder Cup style event, with first day at Elyria Country Club (partner matches) and the second and final day at Avon Oaks (singles matches). June 13 th at Elyria CC June 14 th at Avon Oaks Cost: $50/Player Men s Senior Club Championship Deadline to enter is 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 14 th. Sign-Up Deadline June 14 th Match Play using 100% handicap. Handicaps will be determined off the low ball. Competitors must arrange their own matches before the Semi-Final and Final rounds. William S. Flynn Cup July 11 th -July 12 th Format: 36 Hole Stroke Play Championship (Gross and 100% Handicap Net Divisions) Saturday July 11 th : Round 1: Sign up on the 1 st Tee Box. Play in your normal group for that day. All Strokes must be counted, and all balls must be holed.
