Membership Categories Golf Senior Golf Senior Golfers are both men and woman age 36 and older who have privileges on the long and short course, use of the practice facilities, dining facilities, locker room, shoe cleaning, seasonal club storage and cleaning. Golf Members will receive a 40% discount in all curling categories. Intermediate Golf Intermediate Golfers are both men and women between the ages of 19 35 who have privileges on the long and short course, use of the practice facilities, dining facilities, locker room, shoe cleaning, seasonal club storage and cleaning. Golf Members will receive a 40% discount in all curling categories Out of Town Golf Out of Town members must live at least 150km from the Club for at least 10 months of the year and not have a business/be employed within 150km from the Club. Golfing privileges include 6 rounds of golf per season with any additional rounds subject to a green fee purchase. Entrance Fees Initiation fees apply to both Senior and Intermediate golf memberships only. Initiation is currently $8000, payable $1000 down and $1000 each March over the next 7 years interest free. Three other discounted options exist under this offer: $1500 down and $1500 each March over the next 3 years interest free, $2500 down and $2500 next March interest free, or a onetime $4000 upon joining. Membership Requirements All golfers over the age of 26 must purchase one Class B Membership at $40. An Intermediate Golf Member between the ages 19-25 is entitled to purchase but not mandatory. Leave-of-Absence from Golf Section Requests are to be in writing and will be subject to the discretion of the Board of Directors. A Leave of Absence Membership is mandatory for those on leave. Minimum Annual House Account A minimum spending requirement for food and beverages are applicable to all Senior Golfers. These charges are based on the Club s financial year, from November 1 to October 31. Any unspent amount in any financial year will automatically be billed to the member s house account on October 31st. The unspent balance is shown on monthly statements. Social Social Privileges include full use of the dining facilities.

Corporate Social Privileges include full use of the dining facilities with up to 4 delegates on the account. Social/Golf Privileges include full use of the dining facilities unlimited play on the Short Course. Includes 3 Green fee passes for the Long Course (subject to guest policy 5002) and limited Range access (No Wednesday, every other day after 2pm). Can play on Tuesdays Guest Days with guests, subject to the purchase of a guest green fee. Curling Curling Membership Curling Members have the option of: Unlimited membership, Daytime membership and 1 Night membership for both adults and intermediates (35 and under). Privileges include use of the curling facilities, dining facilities year round and the option to rent a locker seasonally. Snowbird Curling Membership Members must be away for 90 consecutive days with dates submitted prior to September 30 th annually. Membership accounts and privileges will be de-activated during this time. Snowbird Curling Members have the option of: Unlimited membership, Daytime membership and 1 Night membership for both adults and intermediates (35 and under). Privileges include use of the curling facilities, dining facilities year round (with the exception of the 90 consecutive days) and the option to rent a locker seasonally. *Applications for all categories are subject to approval from the Members Committee. Resignations All membership resignations are to be made in writing and addressed to the Chief Operating Officer. Members are responsible for dues and capital levy to the date of resignation. Fee Schedules Golf 1 installment annually at start of fiscal year (November) or monthly Curling 1 installment at season start (September) or 3 monthly installments (September November) Social & Social/Golf Monthly installments Statements Statements are emailed out at month end and payable in full by the last business day of the month (eg. November statement is emailed out the first week of December and payable by the last business day in December). A 2% per month administration fee is automatically charged to any accounts past due. Members may pay their balances via cheque, cash, debt or online payment. The Club reserves the right to bill any credit card on file should the account go past due.

House Regulations General A club is known by the etiquette of its members. All members are expected to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner at all times. Dundas Valley (Club) cannot accept responsibility for any injury, loss or damage suffered by a member or guest. Injury or damage caused by any member of the Club shall be the sole liability of the individual responsible. No person shall enter the kitchen or make use of it facilities except with permission from a recognized Club official Pets are not permitted in any part of the clubhouse with the exception of service animals. Members are not permitted to reprimand or discuss Club affairs with employees. All complaints regarding the conduct of employees should be directed to the Chief Operating Officer in writing. Bridge, cribbage and similar cards games may be played only in the Men s and Ladies lounges. No card playing is permitted after 1 am. The only food and beverage products permitted at the Club are those purchased and served by the Club. The Club is licensed to operate under AGCO regulations. No member or guest is permitted to bring alcohol beverages onto the Club property or into the clubhouse. Personal wine may be brought in under our Bring Your Wine Endorsement with the payment of appropriate corkage. Our SMART SERVE trained servers have the right and obligation to refuse service to any member who, in the opinion of the server, is intoxicated. The management and the Board of Directors of the Club will totally support any decision made by the staff to refuse service for this reason. Members who have been refused service will have alternate transportation arranged for them by staff. Removal of any article of Club property from the clubhouse or grounds is not permitted. The hours of operation will be set by the Chief Operating Officer pending on the seasons. Guests of members may pay by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or debit card for the clubhouse service. A 15% service charge plus applicable taxes is added to all food and beverage sales. Handicap parking facilities are provided near the main Entrance. Club Events Please be advised that if you do not cancel within 48 hours of the event, you will be charged a portion of the event fee. Dress Code All members are responsible for ensuring that both they and their guests conform to the dress code policy. It is a member s responsibility to advise their guest(s) of the Dress Code and Mobile Device Policy prior to their arrival. The Board of Directors has authorized all Dundas Valley Staff and Management to enforce the dress

code and mobile device policy. In as much, this dress code falls strictly under the discretion of the staff and management who have the full support of the Board of Directors. Enforcement may include the following: Any violation of the dress code either on the course or in the Clubhouse will result in progressive disciplinary action up to and including suspension. Golf Course and Clubhouse General In general, Smart Casual is the dress code standard on the golf course and in the club house. This is defined as all attire must be tailored and in good taste. Children 12 years of age and over shall dress in accordance with adult regulations. Children 11 years of age and under should wear neat and clean clothing. The Club realizes that members use the club in certain areas while they are in transition. Members are permitted to enter and exit the club (clubhouse entrance to locker rooms only) in street attire. The club also realizes that proper curling attire may be worn in the curling lounge during curling season. Denim is permitted at Dundas Valley Golf and Curling Club. Solid colour denim pants or skirts of any colour will be allowed in the Bertram Lounge and Stanley Thompson Lounge. Denim will not be allowed on the golf course, outdoor practice facility, or in the Valley Room (which is adjacent to the Stanley Thompson Lounge). Finally, the club makes every effort to ensure that all clothing sold in the Pro Shop complies with the dress code as amended from time to time. All Management and Staff will make every effort to advise members when they are in violation of the dress code. However, the responsibility for compliance is ultimately responsibility of the member and not any DVG&CC staff or Management. Unacceptable Dress Denim must not have holes, be ripped, torn, tyedyed or frayed regardless of price or designer pedigree. The Club reserves the right to restrict denim for special events as communicated in advance. Short shorts, cut-offs, tank tops, tube tops, halter tops, sport jersey shirts, t-shirts or shirts with slogans, baseball-style hats worn backwards, jogging or track pants, leggings, yoga pants, tights, athletic shorts, clothing that is ripped, torn, frayed, with visible patching or in general disrepair in not allowed. Hats/Visors Golf hats, caps, or visors are not permitted in any area of the club house except for the pro shop, Men s and Ladies Lounge areas. All headwear is to be worn as it is intended (bill forward). Foot Attire Soft spikes are mandatory on the golf course. Golf sandals with soft spikes are also permitted. Sandals for both men and women are permitted in the outdoor service areas of the clubhouse as well as anywhere in the clubhouse. Members are encouraged not to wear sport sandals such as flip flops or crocs in the Dining Room. Ladies Any sleeveless top worn must have a golf collar (standard turtleneck or mock style); conversely any top lacking a golf collar must have sleeves. Clothing with promotional or commercial advertising is discouraged, but will be permitted if the business name, crest or logo is tastefully done and does not

exceed 4 inches in diameter, with the exception of golf course crests or logos. Golf skirts, culottes and shorts must be no shorter than mid-thigh. Tailored slacks or Capri-style pants are allowed. Tops with tailored bottoms specifically designed to be worn untucked are acceptable. Men Golf shirts must have a collar (stand style, turtleneck or mock style) and must be tucked in at all times. Clothing with promotional or commercial advertising is discouraged, but will be permitted if the business name, crest or logo is tastefully done and does not exceed 4 inches in diameter, with the exception of golf course crests or logos. Tailored golf slacks and shorts that reach mid-thigh in length are allowed. This includes cargo style shorts or slacks. However, they still must be tailored, with pockets and in good taste. Certain cargo style shorts or slacks may not be permitted at the discretion of Pro Shop staff or the Chief Operating Officer. Cell Phone, Blackberry and other P.D.A./Mobile Device Policy: All mobile and cellular devices are to be switched to silent or vibrate mode while on Club property. Members are expected to use common courtesy when using mobile and cellular devices on the course and in the Clubhouse for email or texting purposes. Members are expected to restrict such use to an absolute minimum. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should the use of these devices interfere with the pace of play, the play of other members or the enjoyment of other members and guests. Any member requiring the use of a cell phone for conversation are expected to do so in the areas of the club that are designated for smoking or the Bertram Lounge when closed or not in use. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES is the use of a mobile device for any reason permitted in the Locker Rooms. Smoking policy The clubhouse is smoke-free. The upper balcony and the covered areas of the McArthur terrace are also smoke-free. All outside smoking areas will be designated and permitted at: West section of the McArthur Terrace South / West corner of the Clubhouse. East side of clubhouse at the corner of Bertram Curling Lounge building (left of Main Entrance when exiting).

I understand that failure to follow the Club s regulations and rules, or to pay all outstanding sums on a timely basis, could lead to sanctions or expulsion.
