SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS This event is governed by the 2017 General Competition Rules (GCR) and Category Specifications, as amended for 2017 per FasTrack. REGISTRATION: Drivers can register for the race online at http://msreg.com/voodoo17. Registration will close at midnight, Tuesday, February 28, 2017. Drivers who complete their registration online, will be required to enter their payment (check/money order or credit card) at the time of registration. Entry fee payments will be deferred until the end of the event. You can change the format of payment at the time of registration to check or cash, but we ask that you have correct change if paying with cash. Make checks payable to Southwest Division SCCA, Inc. A fee in the amount of $25, will be charged for any check returned by the bank. Phone/fax entries will not be accepted. Paper copies of the entry will be available at Registration. Please do not mail entries by any method that requires a signature upon delivery. EXPRESS REGISTRATION: A dedicated line will be available for drivers holding a 2017 U.S. Majors Tour Series Registration Card and for those preregistered that have a valid SCCA license, a valid Annual Tech, a 2017 Helmet sticker and no notations in their logbook. If eligible, you will only need to bring your logbook and license to Registration to receive your event tech sticker. Don t have that squared away? Don t worry, we will have multiple lines at registration, just look for the signs. We will be doing gear tech at Registration as well. REGISTRATION HOURS: Registration will only be done during the following times: Thursday, March 2: 3 PM to 6 PM Friday, March 3: 6:45 AM to 3 PM and 5 PM to 7 PM Saturday, March 4: 7 AM to 12 PM Sunday, March 5: 7 AM to 9 AM PADDOCK PARKING: Parking will only be done during the following times: Thursday, March 2: 3 PM to 8 PM Friday, March 3: 6:45 AM to 8 PM Saturday, March 4: 7 AM to 10 AM Failure to follow the direction of the Paddock Marshal or her/his designate regarding paddock parking or activities may result in expulsion from the facilities and loss of entry fee. Each SRF, SRF3, SM, and FE entry will be charged an additional $20.00 compliance fee per entry for the weekend. Additional shirts must be pre-ordered for $15 prior to the close of registration on Tuesday, February 28, 2017. FREE ENTRY GIVEAWAY: A free entry will be awarded to one driver registering for the event a minimum of 14 days prior to the weekend (Deadline is February 17). Driver name will be drawn at the event party on Saturday night. REFUNDS: A full refund will be made if the entry is withdrawn prior to receiving a Tech sticker. If you pre-enter and are a no show, your check will be destroyed and any online payments will not be charged. If you sign in at registration and do not go thru or pass Tech, you must notify the Chief of Registration, BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE TRACK, in order to receive your full refund. If you do not notify the registrar, you will be charged a $175 processing fee. If your car breaks and you are unable to participate on Sunday, you must notify the Chief of Registration, BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE TRACK, in order to receive a $200 refund. DRIVER ELIGIBILITY: Drivers must be a current member of the SCCA and hold a SCCA Full Competition license or SCCA Pro license to participate in this event. If you do not have the proper credentials it is your responsibility to contact the Registrar prior to the event. CAR ELIGIBILITY: Competition is open to all cars conforming to the GCR, as amended. CREW ACCESS: All crew members wishing to go on pit lane must hold a valid SCCA membership. Weekend Memberships are available for a cost of $15, and you can pre-register for one during online registration. AWARDS: Trophies for all races will be awarded in accordance with the GCR. Trophies will be presented at the event. SCCA U.S. Majors Tour and Hoosier Racing Tire SCCA Super Tour points will be awarded in accordance with the GCR and these Supplemental Regulations. DATA ACQUISITION: Hoosier SCCA Super Tour staff and their delegates may install data acquisition equipment in a competitor s car. This program is to assist the CRB in performance balancing. If selected, participation is not optional and is not protestable. The data collected will not be used for compliance purposes.

DECALS: A Hoosier SCCA Super Tour decal and a U.S. Majors Tour decal must be displayed on both sides of all competition vehicles. Competition vehicles must also display the official SCCA Club Racing decal per GCR section 9.3.29.C. Stickers will be provided free of charge and may be obtained at registration and/or tech. DRIVERS MEETING: Impound All will be given at the end of the first Qualifying session for each group to conduct a drivers meeting. Impound will be in the Tech Area under the trackside cover Look for th.e signs for proper direction. PREFERRED NUMBERS: Every effort will be made to honor Conference Preferred Numbers until 14 days prior to the event. Due to the make-up of the run groups, however, this may not be possible in all situations. If two drivers holding the same Preferred Number request that number for the same run group, the number will be assigned to the driver with the earliest request. GRID: Practice grid positions for Saturday s practice will be determined by car number. Qualifying grid positions for Saturday s qualifying session will be determined by the fastest time recorded for each during the practice session. Starting positions for the Saturday race will be determined by the fastest time recorded for each car during the preceding qualifying session. Qualifying grid positions for Sunday s qualifying session will be based on the fastest time recorded for each car during the preceding qualifying and race sessions. Starting positions for the Sunday race will be determined by the fastest time recorded for each car during each of the preceding qualifying session(s) and their fastest lap during the Saturday race. TECH: All drivers who do not receive their event sticker at registration (from either the express window or the tech window) will need to bring their tech sheet, vehicle and logbook to Tech, unless otherwise directed by a Tech Official. Tech will be located at the pit lane awnings. SCALES: Available at Tech Friday 10:00 am 4:00 PM; Saturday and Sunday 8:00 am 10:00 AM. Scales may be available for other participants during race impound, but priority will be given to impounded cars. Scales may be made available at other times at the discretion of the Chief of Tech. QUALIFYING: A driver not qualifying within a maximum of 115% of the recognized track record of their class must obtain permission from the Race Director in order to race. In the case of unusual circumstances, the Race Director can waive this rule for the entire event. Trophy presentations and photos will occur in the Victory Circle area near impound following the race. Sunday Races: The top three competitors in each class shall report to impound immediately following completion of their race, all other competitors are strongly encouraged to attend the podium festivities following their race. (Impound of all cars is encouraged following Sunday s races.) Victory celebrations and award ceremony will be conducted in the Victory Circle area near impound following Sunday s races. Hoosier SCCA Super Tour door prizes will be awarded after each group s podium ceremonies. You must be present to win. CONTACT: All on track body contact (including contact during drafting) that causes a car to act erratically and results in a change in position or a car leaving the course will be investigated. Drivers are encouraged to proactively report to the Race Director (in the Tech area) following a session in which such contact occurred to expedite the investigation process. SPEC MIATA COMPLIANCE: At post-race inspection, Spec Miata participants may be instructed by the designated Class Compliance Chief (CCC) to remove parts, including but not limited to the cylinder head, for disassembly and/or inspection. Competitors are responsible for performing required disassembly and/or reassembly of their car, as well as any resulting expenses incurred. The CCC will report any findings of non-compliance to the Race Director, who will then determine the need for a Chief Steward s Action (CSA) or Request for Action (RFA). COURSE: is a 2.75 mile course.

RACE LENGTH: Saturday races will be 25 minutes. Sunday races will be 18 laps/50 miles (35 minute max), whichever comes first. When the LAST LAP INDICATOR is given at Start/Finish the next flag will be a checkered flag. RESULTS: Live timing will be available during the event. Live timing information is neither official nor protestable. SPLIT STARTS: The Race Director will consider requests for split starts and may authorize split starts based on qualifying times. START TIMES: For practice and qualifying the clock starts when cars enter the course. For races, the clock starts on the green flag or when the field completes the pace lap in the event of a wave off. All times listed on the schedule are when the cars leave the grid. Please be sure to arrive early in order to grid in your proper position, if applicable. TIMING & SCORING: All cars are required to use fully operational MyLaps/AMB TranX260 or X2 transponders, and the driver is responsible for providing correct information to Timing & Scoring. Efforts will be made to broadcast Sector times during all sessions. These times are not official and will not be used or accepted in any way by Race Officials. VICTORY LAPS: Winners of all races will receive a checkered flag. For Sunday races only, following the cool down lap, the winner of each class should proceed immediately to pit central where they will receive a checkered flag and proceed on course for a single Victory Lap. Drivers need not wear their helmet or gloves during the victory lap, passengers are permitted in accordance with GCR 6.11.7. Drivers shall maintain a safe speed and be wary of safety vehicles that may be on course. CANCELLATION: If part of an event is cancelled for reasons of safety or forces beyond our control as provided by GCR Appendix B 1.2.A., points will be awarded based on race grids. RADIO FREQUENCIES: The Southwest Division operates on frequencies 151.625 and 151.925. These frequencies may be monitored but shall not be used for communication by any participant. SOUND CONTROL: A maximum limit of 103 db is in effect for this event. There shall be no racecar engine activity between 10 PM and 6 AM. For your information, sound readings will be posted at the base of the T&S tower. DISABLED CARS: Disabled or damaged cars may be removed from the course and delivered to a central location. If the car has sustained body/chassis damage it will be released to the driver/crew after tech has made appropriate notations in the vehicle log book. Cars disabled due to a mechanical failure will be released to the driver/crew immediately. If the car requires wrecker support to return to its paddock location, there may be a delay depending on the availability of wreckers or flat tows. CLOTHING: Closed toed shoes are required over the wall on pit lane. Crew members on pit lane must display their event credentials at all times while on pit lane. PIT LANE: Pit lane speed shall not exceed 40 mph. Violators may be penalized. PADDOCK & CAMPING: Camping is allowed in the paddock on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights for $5 per night per person, but there is no additional charge if you are paying for a reserved space (listed on page one). Please do not leave motors, car parts, tires, body work, or batteries in the paddock. TIRES: The following tire manufacturers will be present during the event. Please use the provided contact information to pre-order any tires. Goodyear & Hoosier: SportsCar Performance has requested all drivers pre-order their tires at least 2-3 weeks in advance. Outside fuel is allowed in 5-gal containers only, no drums. 87 Octane Unleaded (up to 10% ethanol) 104 Octane Unleaded (Sunoco 260 GT Plus Oxygenated) 93 Octane Unleaded (up to 10% ethanol) 112 Octane Leaded (Sunoco Supreme) 98 Octane Unleaded (Sunoco 260 GTX) Diesel NOLA GENERAL RULES: ATV's, bicycles, motor scooters/cycles are permitted in the paddock provided they are used in a safe manner and operated ONLY by licensed drivers. Skateboards, skates, rollerblades, micro/mini racers and go-peds are NOT permitted. Absolutely NO bedding new brakes or testing of cars on infield roadways will be permitted. Violations will result in immediate ejection from the premises. This penalty will be enacted for all offenses, with zero tolerance. No open flames. The raceway gates will not be opened for parking until 3:00 PM Thursday. You must leave the facility no later than 9:00 PM on Sunday, unless you have made prior arrangements with officials.
