Notice of Race 1. Location and Dates The 4th Act of the Alp-Cup 2015 is also the Swiss Class Championship of Platu25 and will take place from Friday, 25 September until Sunday, 27 September 2015 in Lucerne, depending on wind conditions, in the Lake Basin Lucerne, Lake Basin Küssnacht and Lake Basin Stansstad. 3. Rules 3.1 The rules apply as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing of the ISAF. 3.2 Class regulations of the International Platu25 Class Association (IPCA) 3.3 National laws on inland navigation and inland navigation regulations 4. Eligibility 4.1 Foreign boats are also eligible. 4.2 All participants (entire team) must be members of one of the clubs associated with the ISAF. For Swiss boats, i.e. members of a club associated with Swiss Sailing, the Swiss Sailing directives, "Eligibility for Regattas" apply. 5. Advertising 5.1 Advertising by participants is allowed. The advertising guidelines of the ISAF, Regulation 20.5, and the Swiss Sailing directives under Advertising apply. 6. 6.4 The following documents must be presented at registration: - Measurement form or boat certificate - Supporting document to justify membership to an ISAF Member national authority - Supporting document to justify participant advertising for Swiss boats - Proof of a valid third-party liability insurance with regatta supplement 7. (Sandwiches / baked goods / fruit / beverages) 7.3 Number of Races: - The class championships comprise a maximum of 12 races. - The championship requires the completion of at least 4 valid races during the time available. - The maximum number of races in one day: 4 valid races. 8. Regatta courses The course plan is included in the appendices of the sailing instructions. 9. Penalties Rule 44.1 and appendix P 2.1 have been changed: the two-turn penalty has been replaced by the one-turn penalty (one tack, one gybe). 10. Scoring Scoring rules: beginning with 4 races, one discard, beginning with 8 races, 2 discards. 11. Prizes - Ranked prizes for the first 3 boats of the 4 th Act Alp-Cup 2015 - Ranked prizes for the first 3 boats of the entire Alp-Cup 2015 (CEAC) - Each participant will receive a souvenir prize from the YCL YCL Notice of Race Alp-Cup Platu25 / KM 2015 4
12. Berthing and Parking Places 12.1 Each participating boat will be assigned a berthing spot. The harbour master s and his helper s instructions are to be followed (Bruno Meier: 0041 79 715 74 96). 12.2 The crane is to be operated exclusively by persons authorised by the YCL. 12.3 Parking places for trailers are reserved at the Lido parking lot. 12.4 Subject to charge, there are parking places available for automobiles. 13. Liability and Insurance 13.1 The Yacht Club Lucerne is liable according to Swiss law. 13.2 By registering and participating, competitors relinquish any rights to liability damages from the responsible organisations and persons responsible for the implementation of the regatta. 13.3 Each participating boat must have sufficient liability insurance that is valid for regattas. 14. Media Rights With their participation, competitors automatically grant the absolute right and permission to the organising Yacht Club Lucerne and its sponsors to use any text, photo, or audio- and videomaterial and other reproductions at their own discretion, free of charge, for an unlimited period of time. 15.
