WELCOME Promoter Gian Enrico Pica, introduces to the second edition of the Olympia Amateur San Marino. Starting with the 2017 IFBB Professional League San Marino Pro on November 24-26, IFBB Professional League promoter will include Pro Qualifier in their countries. These Pro Qualifier Contest will be open to ALL amateur athletes worldwide regardless of their federation affiliations and will be the ONLY WAY TO PROFESSIONAL STATUS WITH THE IFBB PROFESSIONAL LEAGUE. The only contest the IFBB Professional League will recognize for Professional Status are the Pro Qualifier associated with the IFBB Professional League; no other contests will be acknowledged. The IFBB Pro League Pro Qualifiers are the ONLY way to compete on the IFBB Professional League stage, including the OLYMPIA Mr. Olympia Amateur is a prestigious international Open Contest, an amateur version of the famous Mr. Olympia Pro competition, started by the inspirational concept of bodybuilding pioneer and promoter Joe Weider in 1965. Beside traditional men s bodybuilding, our amateur version will also include men s classic bodybuilding, men s physique as well as Figure, women s physique, and bikini full spectrum of the spectacular physique sports performed in the amateur nowadays. 3
LOCATION The Republic of San Marino was founded in 301 A.D. and is the most ancient European Republic. An enclave situated in central Italy, 15 km from the Romagna Riviera, the Republic sits at 700 meters above sea level on Mount Titano, a prominence which gives the first hint of the presence of the Central Apennine Mountains. Each year the Republic of San Marino is visited by millions of tourists from Italy and from all over the world. Most visitors stay in hotels on the nearby Riviera: Rimini, Riccione, Catholica, Milano Marittima and Cesenatico. PARTICIPATION This competition IS OPEN FOR ALL ATHLETES AND FEDERATIONS from Worldwide. Olympia Open Contest are informed that participation in to this championship is UNLIMITED. Registration of athletes is unnominated. Entry Forms should be e-mailed to the Athlete Manager Olympia San Marino, with a copy to the Open Contest Office in Republic of San Marino. REGISTRATION The Official Athlete Registration will be conducted on Friday, November 24 th, 2017-10:00 am - 8:00 pm at the Multieventi Sport Domus, city of San Marino (address: Via Rancaglia, 47899, San Marino). Remember that all athletes will have to produce their payment at the registration. PRO QUALIFIER CONTEST does not permit competitors to crossover into all classes. POSING MUSIC: All posing music must be on an audio CD only. The posing music must also be at the start of the CD. Each competitor must affix his name on the CD for easy identification. The use of profane, vulgar and offensive language is strictly prohibited in the posing music. REGISTRATION FEE 8

COMPETITORS INFORMATION Athletes will be given a goodie bag and wristband at the registration on Friday, November 24 th, 2017. This wristband has to be worn during your whole stay and will allow you in and ot of the venue during the week end. There is a special athlete seating area close to the stage and backstage. The athletes coach will be given a backstage pass. PLEASE NOTE: There will be a limited amount of extra coach passes available at the registration and they can be purchased for EUR 50,00. Those passes will allow the official to go in and out of the venue during the weekend and will give access backstage and the athlete allocated seating area and the Ticket in TRIBUNA AREA (A-B-C). The wristband has to be worn during your whole stay. 10

COMPETITORS RULES MEN S BODYBUILDING Suits worn by male competitors at the prejudging and finals must be plain in color with no fringe, wording, sparkle or fluorescents. All Prejudging suits will be checked at the morning check-in. Competitors are not permitted to alter the fit of the posing suit by hiking it up in the back or by pulling up the sides during Front and Rear Lat Spreads. During the Prejudging male competitors are not permitted to wear any jewelry onstage other than a wedding band. No glasses, props or gum are permitted onstage. Any competitor doing the Moon Pose will be disqualified. Lying on the floor is prohibited. Bumping and shoving is prohibited. First and second persons involved will be disqualified. Competitors numbers will be worn on the left side of the suit bottom. MEN S CLASSIC The Judging is scored 100% and will consist of comparisons of the quarter turns and the following 5 mandatory poses: Front Double Biceps Side Chest Back Double Biceps Abdominal and Thighs Favorite Classic Pose (Not Most Muscular) Competition wear: Competitors are required to wear posing shorts. You are NOT to wear board shorts or Bodybuilding posing trunks. We have provided an image of the Pro Qualifier Competition Classic shorts below. MEN S PHYSIQUE 1)Muscularity and Body Condition: Judges will be looking for fit contestants who display proper shape and symmetry combined with muscularity and overall condition. This is not a bodybuilding contest so extreme muscularity should be marked down. 2)Stage Presence and Personality: Contestants will be asked to walk in board shorts (shorts must be just above the knee in length and can be one inch below the belly button, no spandex and no logos are permitted on the board shorts however a manufacturer s logo such as Nike symbol or Billabongs are acceptable.) Competitors will enter the stage without a shirt and barefoot. No lewd acts allowed for example the moon pose. No Gymnastics Moves are Allowed. Judges are looking for the contestant with the best stage presence and poise who can successfully convey his personality to the audience. 3)Presentation: Competitors will walk to the center of the stage alone and perform front and back turns with optional pose of hand on hip or hand in pocket, finishing facing the judges as directed then proceed to the side of the stage. 4)Comparison Round: The competitors will be brought back out in a group and directed to do turns. Judges will have the opportunity to compare competitors against each other in turns. 18
BIKINI Competitors will compete in a two-piece suit. The bottom of the suit must be v-shaped. No thongs are permitted. C Competitors can compete in an off the rack suit. All swimsuits must be in good taste. Athletes will be warned about improper suits and are advised to bring two (2) suits to check in. The fronts of the suits are too low and must be constructed higher. Athletes will be scored down if the suit is not up to standard. Competitors must wear high heels. Competitors may wear jewelry. Presentation: Competitors will walk onstage alone and perform their Model Walk (personal preference) The Model Walk consists of the following: Walk to the center of the stage, stop and do a front stance, then a full turn and do a back stance, then turn to the front again and face the judges as directed then proceed to the side of the stage. No lewd acts are permitted. Length of time allowed is 10 seconds. Judges will be scoring competitors using the following criteria: Balance and Shape Overall physical appearance including complexion, skin tone, poise and overall presentation 19
WOMEN S PHYSIQUE Symmetry, shape, proportion, muscle tone, poise and beauty flow. Physique assessment and comparison will take place during prejudging Women s Physique Division has been created to give a platform for women who enjoy weight training, competing, contest preparation. Competitors should display a toned, athletic physique showcasing femininity, muscle tone, beauty/flow of physique. The following are examples of common terms used in the bodybuilding industry. These words can be helpful to assess what should not be descriptive to the physiques being judged in women s physique: Ripped, shredded, peeled, striated, dry, diced, hard, vascular, grainy, massive, thick, dense, etc. While all types of physiques will be considered when it comes to height, weight, structure, etc. Excessive muscularity should be scored down accordingly. Women s physique competitors should have the overall aesthetics and look that is found in figure with a little more overall muscularity. 20
FITNESS Competitors will compete in a two-piece suit. The bottom of the suit must be v-shaped. No thongs are permitted. Competitors can compete in an off the rack suit. All swimsuits must be in good taste. Competitors must wear high heels. Competitors may wear jewelry. Round two (2) is maximum two minute routine. The contestants should have shape to their muscles but not size, definition or vascularity as in bodybuilding physique. If these are present the contestant will be scored down. Round 1: Judges will score the degree of athleticism using the following criteria: Firmness Symmetry Proportion Overall physical appearance including Round 2: trength Flexibility Cardiovascular Overall Package The amount and types of strength moves. The degree of difficulty of these moves. The ease and correctness of the moves. The number and types of flexibility moves. The degree of difficulty of these moves. The ease and correctness of the moves. The tempo of the routine. Full general assessment including but not limited to creativity, stage presence, outfits, hair and make-up 21
Final: All athletes will be introduced in their two-piece swimsuits. The finalists will perform their routines. After all classes are completed the trophies will be awarded. At competitions where there is more than one class the class winners will be brought back in their two-piece swimsuits. Quarter turns will be done. The judges will then decide on the overall winner based on their physique and routine. In regards to ties, after highs and lows are removed if there is still a tie, then the athlete who has won the routine round is the winner. FIGURE Competitors will compete in a two-piece suit. The bottom of the suit must be v- shaped. No thongs are permitted. Competitors can compete in an off the rack suit. All swimsuits must be in good taste. Figure will not have a routine round. Competitors must wear high heels. Competitors may wear jewelry. Competitors will walk to the center of the stage alone and perform quarter (1/4) turns, face the judges as directed then proceed to the side of the stage. COMPARISON ROUND: Competitors will be judged wearing a two-piece swimsuit and high heels The competitors will be brought back out in a group and directed to do quarter turns Judges will have the opportunity to compare competitors against each other in quarter turns. 22

VISAS A valid passport is required to enter Italy. There are no border formalities. Anyone visiting Italy with a visa can enter San Marino. EU-country citizens do not need to obtain a visa. All other countries should consult the Italian Embassy in their country to determine if they need a visa. All National Federations could ask for an Invitation letter either to the Championship Organizer or IFBB Professional League. The invitation letter does not mean you are granted your visa. IFBB Professional League and Championship organizer are not responsible of attendants visas. An athlete, who requested and received an invitation from the IFBB Professional League Head Office or the Organizing, Committee of an IFBB Professional League sanctioned event for visa purposes and used this visa to unlawful stay in the host country or any other country, will be subjected to the disciplinary proceedings and measures. MEDIA ACCREDITATION All media accreditation, accept local media, shall be controlled by the IFBB Professional League. All persons wishing to obtain media accreditation for this event must register with the IFBB Professional League by completing and signing an IFBB Professional League Media Accreditation Form, said form which must be remitted to the IFBB Professional League by e- mail at dbologna@v-power.sm no later than November 15 th, 2017. CAMERA/VIDEOTAPE EQUIPMENT Camera and/or videotape equipment shall be strictly prohibited in the backstage and/or dressing room areas except when used by IFBB Professional League-authorized media persons and, in any event, these devices shall be strictly prohibited in the dressing room area.
