United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service Pacific Northwest Region Lakes and Streams Naches Ranger District Consult your current Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife pamphlet for special regulations before fishing any lakes or stream on the district. Fishing for or keeping Bull trout is prohibited. Below is a partial listing of lakes, rivers and streams on the Naches Ranger District. The district contains numerous small lakes that are unnamed and small streams that flow seasonally. Our most recent knowledge of fish species that may be found in the lakes and streams are listed following the lake/stream names. Fish stocking changes from year to year, especially in the wilderness lakes and in drought years. Many of the lakes are too shallow to hold populations through winter freezes. Other lakes without proper outlet or inlet, or without hiding cover cannot support fish populations. Some of the lakes and streams have easy access and receive a tremendous amount of fishing pressure on a consistent basis. For this reason we ask you to consider catch and release fishing for those fish caught unharmed. By doing so, better quality fishing experience will be achieved for future visits. Fishermen are reminded to Pack It Out. Tangled monofilament, lure packages, bait cups, lunch/snack packaging and fish entrails are both unsightly and destructive to fish habitat. To protect the habitat at fishing sites and preserve the opportunity to fish, everyone should leave their site cleaner than they found it. LAKES - NACHES RANGER DISTRICT NAME SPECIES ACCESS ELEV.
