FIB Annual Report Activities 2015-2016 In the year 2015-2016 FIB had two EC Meetings, in Budva, Montenegro 16-20.7 2015 and in Ulyanovsk, Russia 4.22016 which was followed by the Annual Congress in Ulyanovsk, Russia on 5.2 2016 where 15 member federations participated. Directly after the end of the fiscal year 2015-2016 FIB EC had a Meeting 13-16.7 20I6,also in Budva, Montenegro. Some important remarks for 2015-2016 o World Championship for Men was played in indoor arenavolga Sport and Trud outdoor stadium in Ulyanovsk with 8 teams in A-group and 10 teams in B-group. One match was also played in Dimitrovgrad. o In World Championship in Ulyanovsk participated for the first time the new FIB member federation from Czech Republic. o Bandy was for the first time participating in Olympic Winter Games, OWG, as exhibition sport. Bandy in OWG was played in Gjövik, Norway 12-17.2 2016.. China participated for the first time in World Championship for Women. During the season six WCS were played. In Ulyanovsk, Russia, where WCS for Men was played, 18 teams participated. In A-group, Russia got the gold medals, Finland silver and Sweden bronze. ln B-group Germany got the gold medals, Hungary silver and Ukraine bronze. WCS for Women was played in Minneapolis, USA. Seven teams participated with gold for Sweden, silver for Russia and bronze for Norway. Also WCS for Women was very well organized with American Bandy Association as head organizer on site. WCS for boys Yl7 was played in Arkhangelsk, Russia, in January 2016 with 5 teams. Gold for Russia, silver for Sweden and bronze for Finland. WCS for boys, Yl9, was played in Trollhäuan, Sweden, with 4 teams. Gold for Sweden, silver for Russia and bronze for Finland. WCS for boys, Y15, was played in Mikkeli, Finland, with 4 teams. Gold for Russia, silver for Sweden andbronze for Finland. WCS for boys, Y2l, was played in Varkaus, Finland, with 3 teams. Gold for Sweden, silver for Russia, and bronze for Finland.
champion cup in Edsbyn, sweden, had Dynamo Moscow as the winner. Finally the two biggest toumaments for Club teams, World Cup for Men in Sandviken with 16 teams had Jenisey, Russia,as the"winner and World Cup forwomen had Kareby, Sweden, as the winner. All World Championships and Tournaments during this season has been very well organised and Federation of International Bandy wish to thank all partners/organisers for excellent work.
