St. Jane Frances de Chantal School 1900 Washington Blvd., Easton, PA 18042 610.253.8442 altnsjf@ptd.net www.stjaneschool.com REMINDER! On Monday November 24, 2014 and Tuesday, November 25, 2014, we will be making fruit baskets for our parish Shut-In's, our annual November Outreach. We are asking the children to bring fruit, crackers, hard candies, etc. If you have any baskets you would like to donate, please send to school as soon as possible so I can count them up. (If you would like to purchase baskets to donate, you can get packs at the Dollar Store. Your donations are greatly appreciated.) Please see your assigned item below. In addition, if you have any ribbon (one inch wide) for bows, we would appreciate that, too! Please send the fruit/supplies to school on Monday, 11/24/14. I am in need of volunteers to help assemble and deliver baskets. If your schedule permits, please fill out the bottom part of this form and return to my attention. (You do not need to commit to all that time. Even an hour of help would be appreciated.) We will be meeting on Monday morning between 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM, to assemble the baskets in FFH. Then on Tuesday between 9:00AM and 10:30 AM, the baskets may be picked up for delivery. We really need help with the delivery of baskets. You can easily make it a little Thanksgiving "project" for your child, walking to the shut-ins doors and giving them the basket. Be assured the people appreciate seeing the children more than words can say. It truly brightens their day. In addition, if you have any names of people you would like us to make and deliver a basket to, please let me know. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your support and have a Blessed Thanksgiving! Here is the list of fruit/items for each grade to bring to school. Kindergarten Apples Grade 1: Oranges/Grapefruit Grade 2: Pears Grade 3 Bananas (unripe) Grade 4: Crackers and/or baskets Grade 5: Kiwi Grade 6: Grapes Grade 7: Hard Candies and/or Sarah Wrap Grade 8: Dried Fruits Pre School: Baskets or Saran Wrap or Ribbons (or any other item on this list) Sincerely, Mrs. Carol Swavely Outreach Coordinator ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please return by Friday, 11/21/14 or as soon as possible. Thank you. I/we would be happy to help make baskets 8:00 to 10:30 A.M. on Monday Nov. 24th I/we would be happy to help deliver the baskets. I/we will pick them up in FFH between 9:00 and 10:30 on Tuesday Nov. 25th Signature and Phone/Email
