Course and Pre-Course Tasks Participants of Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, FYR Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia & Slovenia Each group of participants from each Federation is asked to please prepare the following before they arrive to the residential block: Pre residential block 2 assignments Assignment 1: Prepare a 20 mins presentation Course outline and organisational update Assignment 2: Prepare a 20 mins presentation Game analysis relating to a CL match Participants of Serbia Pre Residential Block 2 Task Discuss and outline to the Serbian club coaching staff what is expected during the residential block; 1. Two match analysis presentations, to be created and presented during day 2 & 3 of the residential (One relating to offensive/transition the other on defensive/transition, with focus on the role of the goalkeeper in team functions) 2. Two related practical sessions to be outlined as part of both presentations and a paper copy to be given to the tutor in advance of the presentations 3. A practical session relating to each session plan to be undertaken by the Coaching staff for approx. 1 hour each day The Serbian Participants will be acting as Tutors during the residential block Notes: a. The focus for the Tutors should be predominately on the ability of the GK coach to carry out his role effectively during the entire process b. During the practical session the GK coach will work with GKs individually during the initial preparation period, then with a group of players and the GKs during a functional phase, before joining with the rest of the coaching staff to complete the final tactical phase. 11
Participants of Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, FYR Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia & Slovenia Each Federation should ensure that they bring their own working computer with video analysis software and power point software loaded and operational At least one participant from each Federation should be able to use this technology and software All participants are expected to carry out the pre course tasks All participants are required to get involved in discussion groups and observation tasks All technical directors/heads of coach education will help facilitate discussion groups, and lead national micro groups and ensure assignments are carried out 12
