EDGEWOOD SENIOR Our seniors enjoyed Western Day at the center. They also enjoy playing BINGO! 8
FRANK CHESTER SENIOR CENTER The seniors here were spotted getting down to the music at their monthly Tea Party/Birthday Party. We also take time to celebrate monthly birthdays. The oldest and youngest birthday person present were given a small gift as we all sang Happy Birthday to them. This month, Maurice Jenkins celebrated his 87 th birthday with us and one of his friends surprised him with his own personal birthday cake. While the seniors continued to enjoy an array of finger foods, staff put on some good music and next thing we know we have dancers on the floor. Ruby was spotted getting down to the twist as she celebrated her birthday. Age seems to have no limits on the dance floor at this center. Our Busy Bee Sewers were back at this week. They have just finished up several more walker and wheelchair Bags. Victor, our only male sewer, was right in there sewing up a storm. We hope to complete this project in late October, so that we can begin to distribute them to the area nursing homes. 9
GALLOPS SENIOR CENTER Active Aging Walk Columbus at Heath Park. Fresh air, birds singing, while walking in the shade today. 10
