TOGETHER WE ARE BETTER! Presenting Sponsor Gold Sponsors Event Sponsors

Dear Leadership Summit Attendees, It is my great pleasure to welcome you to a first-of-its-kind leadership and training event driven by, and for, Canadian IBDs the CIBRA Leadership Summit 2014! Our agenda is full of fantastic speakers and informative sessions that were developed with the input of CIBRA s IBD stakeholders, and the hard work and dedication of volunteers on our Summit planning committee. I d like to take this opportunity to thank our Committee and sponsors who helped make this Summit a reality, and to congratulate our IBD attendees who saw the value and importance of this premier event for the Canadian bicycle retail trade. The slogan for this Summit is Bicycle retail is changing - are you changing with it? Our aim from the very beginning in planning this Summit was to provide practical knowledge and tangible takeaways to retailers competing in an increasingly wired world, where new kinds of cycling consumers are appearing, and new strategies for tackling old problems like managing inventory, and coaching great staff. We ve put together a fantastic series of talks, workshops, and sessions to help equip IBDs big and small to meet the changes we face. Bicycle retail is indeed changing, and this year your bicycle trade association fundamentally changed to ensure we represent the needs and interests of our IBD stakeholders as we negotiate these changes. The Canadian Independent Bicycle Retail Association (CIBRA) was established to serve Canada bicycle retail trade as its voice and steward, and the CIBRA Leadership Summit 2014 is the first of what we hope will be a series of opportunities for Canadian IBDs to learn, train, and collectively enhance their businesses. Congratulations, and welcome to Leadership Summit 2014!
