Kamiak High School Show Band is honored to be hosting our 5 th Annual Marching Band Show, Music In Motion (MIM) on October 28, 2017. We look forward to a great event. Enclosed you will find the information needed to make this a successful day for you and your students. Location: Frank Goddard Memorial Stadium Mariner High School 200-120 th St. SW, Everett, WA 98204 Directions: From Seattle, I-5 North -Take exit 186 (128 th St SW) -Take left onto 128 th St SW and go over freeway -Turn right at 4 th Ave W -Turn right into Mariner High School parking lot From Marysville, I-5 South -Take exit 186 (128 th St SW) -Take right onto 128 th St SW -Turn right at 4 th Ave W -Turn right into Mariner High School parking lot

Bus Drop-off/Parking Turn right into the parking lot off of 4 th at the first gate (South). Unload students at the front entrance of the school. Parking attendants and signs will direct buses to unload area and parking. Equipment Parking: Equipment trucks and support vehicles will use parking lot at the same location as the buses (South Gate off of 4 th ). A parking attendant will direct you to your band s camp location. Please note that due to parking lot size restrictions, the base camp area is reserved for equipment only. Support vehicles will need to drop equipment off and park in separate designated areas, as directed by parking attendants. Spectator Parking: Spectators should turn right off of 4 th into the first gate (South). Parking attendants and signs will be present to direct spectators to their parking areas.

Band Check-In: A Band Host will greet you and provide a Director s packet when the buses arrive at the student drop-off area. Students will receive wristbands at that time to allow entrance at the gate. Staff Passes: All bands will be supplied with a limited number of wristbands for staff and chaperones. Non-NWAPA members will be provided 12 wristbands. NWAPA members will be provided with 10 wristbands. If you have volunteers helping your band in addition to these numbers, they will not be allowed in the gate without a wristband. Each band will be allowed to purchase 10 extra wristbands for a reduced price of $7.50 each. Anything after that will be charged at the full price. Event Staff: This event is staffed by Kamiak Performing Arts Boosters. If you have questions before the event, please email them to Michelline Bouvier, MIM Coordinator at mimcoordination@gmail.com. If you require assistance during the event, please look for anyone with a volunteer badge or radio. The Band Hosts will also be available for help. Security: While we have security on-site, it is highly recommended that your group assign a volunteer to remain with items at your base camp at all times especially during Finals performances and Award ceremonies. We will not be held responsible for damaged, lost or stolen items. Prop Storage: Prop storage will be available at the East end of the field. No props will be allowed onto the field once performances have begun unless accompanying performing unit with entering field or competition. Warm-up Areas: There are two warm-up areas (please refer to map below for location) in the North parking lot of the school. These are reserved for full ensemble warm-ups, as per scheduled warm-up times. No individual section rehearsals will be permitted in the designated warm-up areas (i.e., pit and battery will not be allowed to utilize these areas unless with full ensemble at schedule times). Payment Methods Accepted: We will gladly accept cash, credit or debit cards for Admission & Programs, Concessions (meal tickets in dollar increments will be sold at the ticket booth if paying for concessions by credit card), Merchandise, Raffle and Silent Auction items. There is a $5 minimum purchase required for all credit card transactions. Admissions: Wristbands will be sold near the main gate entrance. $40 Family Pack (includes 2 Adults and 2 Youth tickets) $15 Adult $10 Youth 6-18, Senior 65+, Military w/ ID Free children 5 & under Concessions: The Kamiak Performing Arts Boosters (KPAB) will run the food concessions for the show. The concession stand will be open throughout the entire event. We hope you will support us by eating your meals here. Concessions items will include: Meatball sub w/ mozzarella Pulled pork sandwich Penne pasta w/ marinara sauce Hot Dogs and Chili Dogs Nachos Ivar s Clam Chowder & Chili

Tobacco and Alcohol: Tobacco and alcohol are prohibited on all school district property, including the Fire Department parking lot. Awards Retreat: There will be Drum Major only Retreat immediately following both performances. In addition to the standard awards for Preliminary competition and Finals competition, there will be a People s Choice Award that is based on spectator vote. Accommodations: Nearby campus housing may be available. We have partnered with Hilton Garden Inn for this and other Kamiak Performing Arts events.
